She has been great on defense and on the boards... missed a few bunnies but really good game overall so far

Really good halftime stats... 47% on 17 of 36 FG. 14 assist on those 17 made baskets! 6 of 11 from 3-point range, 55%. Up 24 to 14 on rebounds. Only three turnovers in first half. This is great! Balanced scoring from our starters... Ekh with 11, L White 10, Micheaux and Baker with 8 each, Wenzel with 4. Wenzel did not play in the 2nd Qtr. She picked up her 2nd foul near the end of the 1st. Only negative, if there is one, is no bench points. Nelson, Wells, R White, and Peterson all got minutes with all but R White taking shots.
Overall, really good half of basketball.

Just turned the game on to a 2 point lead and suddenly we're up 9. I don't know what we were doing before, but we should keep doing what we just did more often.

I agree. But I also don't think it's crazy to suggest that our top candidates may be in consideration for other better DC positions and we have to let the dust settle a little bit. If Pry wanted, He probably could have signed Torrian Gray in one week. To me, the delay suggests Pry is being really diligent and trying to get a DC that is in consideration for other top jobs.

And I guess it could just be Pry and Whit suck at this and swinging and missing at position coaches that have no other prospects. I just refuse to think that's the current status, and honestly it doesn't make sense to me. Pry is a great salesman and this job can be a great stepping stone. It's still has enough prestige in the ACC that a DC would be able to showcase their abilities against some high-powered but flawed offenses. And VT had a top 30 defense last year by some advanced metrics (which is crazy to believe, but true). And the talent level and depth is solid for the ACC.

I would definitely want to buy you a drink one day, argue with you in person over a few pints. We actually agree on a lot more than we disagree on, and I think you're right on a lot of things before others take notice. You were way more right on the eligibility issue than I was, even though you were super exaggerative at the time.

MPRT was awesome in high school to get to the football stadium. We parked at my dad's office outside the ROTC building and rode to the games. It wasn't practical at all for the majority of classes or residents at WVU. Only real students that used it were in the medical school.

I imagine it could be integrated better at Tech due to how the school and town are lined up but still not really practical.
