I keep seeing Tim Banks name come up relative to Miami and Clemson, but can't figure why he would leave the SEC. And if he isn't going to one of those schools, doubtful he'd come here.
Glad to see another top VA kid coming back home too. I'd rather have them right out of high school, but better late then never!
after the J-Ham experience I'm not high on bringing in a) someone without DC experience, or b) one of Bud's guys unless it's one of Bud's guys that also has prior DC experience.
Agreed, I know nothing about this kid, but I'm excited to see a LB from a P4 program with a good defense and not another kid from VMI.

I could get excited about any of these options except Schoop. Wouldn't love Torian, but I could get hype about it.
Gotta figure there's 1 of 3 reasons for the wait:
- We're waiting for dex (or NFL candidate) to finish at PSU
- We're waiting for donors to commit money
- We've been big dawged and we're back to square one

I hate Pat Narduzzi and Pitt but he's consistently had mean hard hitting defenders, I hope this is one of them.

Yeah, you're right that we need to get better players. However, the fact is we are probably getting the best players we can on the open market. If we could get the P4 guys to come to Tech we would. If we can't elevate the program with the guys these coaches are able to recruit, then we need better recruiters. If we aren't willing to part with the recruiters we have, then we can't expect anything to change, as you have been saying.
I mean texas could, they have multiple millions more than most other school
