Yeah, there were a couple of those in this piece. French, who has always been a great analyst, is becoming a better and better writer IMHO.
Mihota always plays over left tackle (although at the end of last year when Bud ran the Bear front, Mihota always played to the boundary side and slid down to a three tech even if he had to flip. They have run minimal Bear this year.)
With the 3 man rotation they have now at end, when Hill comes in, Ekanem goes over right tackle to take Mihota's place, and Mihota sits. Dooley isn't in the rotation at the moment.

Why not? I'm not trying to compare his numbers to those of any other WR either at Tech or any other school nor any other player at any other position. All I was looking at was Ford's numbers this season compared to his previous two seasons with us because someone thought they might have been down. Turns out, his numbers are down a little bit from last season in which case I think you very much have to consider the fact that he's been pulled early in every game this season except UT.

I can't write it any better. Moutuapuaka had outside leverage and eyes on the QB. Trubisky didn't think he could cover the space to undercut the route. Motu read it and got a great jump.

I think he is a good player. On most of the teams from 2008-2011, he'd be in the rotation. Depending on Tim Settle's knee (everyone says he is ok, but just in case) I expect he will get work given how Syracuse uses tempo.

Yes- offseason prep and maintaining strength and flexibility in season are paramount to staying healthy. There are freak joint and ligament injuries. But, most muscle pulls and tears stem from a lack of conditioning and flexibility.

Offensively and defensively, this season should open eyes to recruits all over the region that we have guys running the show that know what the hell they're doing, and if they want to put up big numbers, we're a great option.
Imagine if you give BudFu a roster of balanced recruiting that has our classes ranked Top 20 for a few years in a row. Crazy thing is, we are going after recruits who could pull that off.
From the looks of how swollen it was, just as well that 16 booted it the hell out of there.

I'm sure someone else has a more nuanced answer if there is one.
