Better winning % than Loeffler's ability to pick up a 1st down?
Don't set the bar too low.
Oh absolutely. I'm still thinking its a great game when I see our score in the 20s. Then I realize its the 2nd quarter....
Just slightly below .500 on the season.
Still better than UVa's football team
While that's comforting to think about, the naysayer in me keeps waiting for our offense to deflate and the wheels to fall off the hype train. It actually makes every game a surprise and I still get really excited every time we score. The last few years have ruined me.
Yea, Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester is really great. Been there plenty of times on biz travel. I imagine the one in Syracuse is great as well.
Another great restaurant in Syracuse is Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub. Great beer, whiskey, and food!
DDD has been there!
TIL Syracuse is in New England.
And now I want Orange Soda.
LOL.. Just made My Day reading this wonderful fact filled article. Not the mention the pictures ! What else would I need today... Nothing more
Wait, we play Syracuse this year? I don't think anyone on this board knew that. Has someone told Fuente?
Right there with ya, bro.
Batting .343 consistently gets you into the hall of fame, right?.....oh...wait...baseball.....never mind.
Funny stuff, thx!
On the second clip we have textbook Bud Foster Run Defense. Tremaine Edmunds spills the ball wide. Clark is there perfectly to fill the alley. I have talked a bunch about the linebacker play. Chuck Clark's tackling coming up from the deep safety position has improved significantly as well.

# | After Withstanding a Hurricane, Hokies Hoping to Exorcise Dome Demons in Syracuse Yeah, Cornelson did it last year at Memphis as well. I remember Fuente talking about it.. finally found the article.
That sounds like a lovely tour, especially with a week back home to weather a mild storm.
We keep playing like we are, and they'll excuse the loss as the aberration on the season, and they'll write it off saying it was a VT squad in its first game away from home under a new coaching staff in week 2.
This isn't like the past where a loss would kill us because the way we won games didn't afford us any style points. We're flat dominating teams this year, and when you're regularly outscoring your opponent by 30-40 points per game, the pundits are much more likely to turn a blind eye to a game where you outgained the opponent but turned it over 5 times than if you're regularly beating your opponents by 10.
I'd say you could post this as its on OT Caption This thread
New York isn't part of New England
You're in between tasks.
That's a good point. As long as Tenn continues to win most of their games, we should be good. And if they really get into that matchup, I think we beat UT on most of the stats that game except for points which further proves we made 5 mistakes that night that arguable cost us the game.
Would depend on who wins the ACC...
If UofL and Clemson both go undefeated the rest of the way, Clemson plays for the ACC title. If Miami or VT go undefeated the rest of the way as well (neither play Clemson or UofL) the committee would have a tough time. At that point you have 3 ACC Top 10 teams, 2 of which playing in the ACC title, and a Top 5 Louisville sitting at home. At that point, if Clemson wins, I could see the Committee pulling in Clemson and Louisville and calling it a day. If Miami/VT win, I could see the Committee pulling in the winner, and freezing out Louisville. I don't see them necessarily being rewarded for not being in the title game, but I could see them tagging along with Clemson if things fall right for them.
Email inbox on TKP screen. Actual work on other screen. ALT-TAB still effective. Looks like I'm really trying to knock out my emails.
I hope that game goes to at least 4 overtimes and we're up on the Cuse something like 56-0 at halftime.
but then how can I pretend to be working?

Thank you for putting in all of this work to analyze the game, French (and thanks to the video crew getting these clips prepped). I have one question on personnel if you have the time to answer. Before the UNC game I thought Ken and Mihota stayed on a particular side of the defensive line (one as the "stud" and one as the "end"). But, against UNC, I noticed that they switched sides on occasion. I do not think they had lined up switched before the UNC game. I haven't looked over the defensive film enough to notice any trends, but do you know why Bud may have decided to switch them on occasion? Do you think Bud noticed tendencies in Fedora's run scheme and that one of Mihota/Ekanem are better at crashing on the back side while the other is better at fitting play side?

To give examples of what I'm talking about (using GIFTORY), Ken is normally on the offense's left and Mihota to the right like this:
But, later we see this switched with Ken on the right (Trevon Hill is to the offense's left this time):
It appears that Ken aligns to where the running back would go.
