I think so. Anything after Thursday would have to be played in Blacksburg, IMO.
Or, and I think someone mentioned it here, you postpone this game until early December and push conference championship game a week.
You have two major ditches around you that connect right to KH Bay - I would use Hurricane Irene as a benchmark... If the storm path is coming up the sound, I would expect at least 1' more water than Irene brought in. Find your nearest neighbor that had Irene flood damage damage & then extrapolate.
You probably already know this: From experience, I can tell you that even if you have flood insurance, they will not pay for anything damaged at grade level or on the first floor of pile supported houses (our typical utility rooms, garages, storage, or bonus rooms). If you have anything valuable that can't get wet, spend the time to bring it up into your living room or kitchen.

Just look at ND's schedule and the amount of actual away games that they play this season. It is a joke.

They have 3-4 neutral site games to avoid actually playing in more than 3 opponent's stadiums.
So it's either Thursday (which is when the ACC is scheduled to talk about this again) or move it to Blacksburg. Right? That's the only two viable options I can imagine

Hurricane Isabel. Couldn't have been more convenient for me: I evacuated the OBX to Lane Stadium for the A&M game. The energy in the stadium that night was amazing.
Thursday sounds way too late. If they were move it to Friday then you're leaving the teams to make last second changes which I'd think the coaches would hate or if you move to Blacksburg I'm sure NC wouldn't be happy
Why have a game on Sunday when there could be massive power outages and emergency response crews will be needed elsewhere. It makes more sense to have the game earlier than later.
I seriously doubt that CJF would be going anywhere, but what about Coach Cornelsen? Do you think he might be a suddenly hot property?
IIRC (I may not), I think this is only Cornelsen's second year of play calling? I'm far more worried about Foster leaving than Cornelsen.

Games going to be in Blacksburg people!!!!! I don't see any other option, my guess is UNC and VT have been told. They're working on all the arrangements needed to make this happen and Thursday am it will be announced.

I'm gonna guess it'll be a Sunday kickoff. UNC won't want to move it and going earlier won't help anything. Just sucks because the NFL is on at the same time so nobody will be watching.
