Definitely got my attention when I heard that lol.
So the latest EURO output has it making landfall in Florida. Definitely something up with that run but also should be noticed.
Well...ok, then.
well if they can make the decision sooner rather than later, then maybe people will have time to make plans to attend. I hear a lot of folks from FL, SC, and NC are gonna be on the road this weekend anyway...
Official forecast too far W & too fast. Red symbols & track E = my forecast (FOR NOW!)...Prepare in case I am wrong. pic.twitter.com/sG14v0JTEoโ Jeff Lawson 13News (@13JeffLawson) October 4, 2016
Local weather guy in Hampton Roads. I hope that is correct.
I have to wonder... if this game does get moved to Blacksburg, would the ACC compensate UNC by moving next year's game to Chapel Hill?
I really, really don't want to see this game moved to a half filled Lane with a neutered atmosphere where we're not allowed to have the festivities of being the home team if it means UNC gets 2 home games in a row over the next 2 years....
Ha. It will be Dr. Hurricane Matthew by the time it hits VA.
Love how the second question at the press conference was about the USCe game.
Hahaha. Sorry about that.
So...will Hurricane Matthew get a degree after it moves through Chapel Hill?
Your early 90s band hierarchy is backwards. Could never get into Soundgarden myself.

Like this report from June, for example.

Really good weather info if you're interested guys!
Just watched this.
*SC UPDATE*
Governor just declared state of emergency. Ordered coastal communities to evacuate, schools closed, she also urges the football games to be moved.
That hurts man. Meghan Trainor is total, unrepentant garbage (as is nearly all pop).
My point was not that Nirvana wasn't good, but rather that I believe them to be far more popular and well regarded than they should be, especially compared to their contemporaries. I think Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains, in that order, are all better bands than Nirvana was.
CMON EMERIL MODEL!

BAMM model would be pretty clutch.
That's an odd name. Normally the first name would be capitalized as well.
no, it goes north east along the coast (most of the time). Only in rare instances do hurricanes veer west enough to really hit blacksburg whereas they expect the eye to roll right through the triangle. So it's the difference between the full brunt of a slow moving, rain dumping storm trudging through Chapel Hill and some peripheral rain (if any) sprinkling the burg.
I'm not a meteorologist either, but from what I've read is that it will track along the coastline. There is a pressure system above the United States that pushes it back east once it starts turning inland.
Honestly... situations like this are why you should have 1 week delay between the end of the season and the Conference Title games. Best case, you allow both schools to go into the game fresh hopefully putting on a better show. Worst case, you get to use that week to make up games that were postponed from earlier in the year.
Voted. Let the blowout continue.
What's the deal with it being mildly neutral? You can clearly hear "Let's Go Hokies" and see UNC baby blue but they blur out the team logos, who are they fooling?

Jeff Lawson is easily my least favorite weatherman ever. Something about him makes me angry the very second I see his face or listen to him talk.
