SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Hurricane Matthew could affect this weekend's Notre Dame-North Carolina State game, with Irish coach Brian Kelly saying Tuesday "everything's on the table" with regard to adjusting the kickoff time in Raleigh.
As of now, Notre Dame, North Carolina State and the ACC haven't moved the kickoff time from noon E.T. Saturday. But Kelly said Notre Dame has given North Carolina State and the ACC a 24-hour window for playing the game from noon E.T. Saturday through noon E.T. Sunday.
"We feel like anything after noon on Sunday starts to encroach on our ability to prepare for Stanford," Kelly said.
Kelly said playing the game Friday night has not been discussed, but he and Irish officials will have a conference call Tuesday afternoon to discuss further possibilities. If everything is on the table, as Kelly said, that could (but doesn't necessarily) mean moving the game from Raleigh as well.
Weather Underground's five-day forecast projects Hurricane Matthew to make landfall in southeastern North Carolina at 8 a.m. Saturday as a Category 1 storm with winds between 74 and 95 mph. Raleigh is about 200 miles from the Atlantic Ocean but still could be affected by the storm, with Weather Underground predicting 1.82 inches of rain with sustained winds of 20-30 mph.

Nirvana and Pearl Jam were products of their generation. Their music won't age particularly well in the long run.
The question isn't who was better or worse, but whose presence defined an entire genre and who was historically significant in their time. Nirvana was that band.

The case can also be made that moving the game to Blacksburg puts the logistical burden of hosting the game back on the Hokies, and a dicey situation like this may actually make playing at home a disadvantage.
Sometimes, if all you have to worry about is showing up, you're better off.

To each his own man. I mean, I still like Nirvana, I just don't think they were as good as they get credit for. And that ranking was just the Seattle bands. Rage, Bush, RHCP, Offspring, Jane's Addiction, STP. The early 90s was a damn good time for alternative music. I have a hard time with the idea that Nirvana was the best of the bunch.

Guys if you want your specific areas forecasted please continue to comment them in here in writing them all down now. Planning to do a write-up/forecast tomorrow its gonna be a HUGE one ill cover all areas then. That being said, if youre in the current damage path or somewhere on the east coast between SC and Va beach id be prepping for the worst. When the euro and GFS line up it's usually very reliable. This is a very real threat and while some may argue its not certain yet there's a reason the governments of rhe carolina are evacuating. The last real hurdle for it is getting over those carribean islands and the models are standing strong. I dont see it changing course much from here

The sound is easily a foot above normal due to all of the rain that the counties in the Albemarle watershed got about two weeks ago (15"-20"). Storm path is going to be everything wrt this storm... if the eye stays to our east, we should be good (normal hurricane wind damage & beach erosion). If it comes up the sound, it gonna flood and flood bad (Hurricane Irene on steroids) due to the bathtub effect. Most of the residents of the Towns (KH, KDH, NH) live on the west side of the bypass with no dune protection from the sound. As this storm progresses, I would love to know your thoughts on the path past (through) the Outer Banks.
