Recruit more TEs and DTs?
They've had more WRs drafted since he took over than any other position, but I'll accept being wrong because they aren't names I've actually heard of and it's only 4 of them. Waller was a WR at GT, but listed at TE for the Ravens
or move it to Friday night
Wow, that's something else.
6 inches is a lot right?! Right?! I need to know.

Great article, Pierson. Enjoyed the writing, especially "Hokies swiftly and violently flicked ECU off of their perch like a gnat from a shoulder."
Larry Fedora is the kind of boss who hypes you up the entire week of a team presentation you have been working on, only to sideline you during the presentation and ask other underprepared colleagues to do the heavy lifting and fail. Just ask Hood.
Since the possibility exists, what's the protocol for flipping the game site to Blacksburg? Do we get to perform normal home game festivities (sandman, Hokie walk, HTs, etc) or will it be "neutral"?

While the headline is flashy, as IllinoisHokie said, if you read the article even the state doesn't even seem to think it's very likely to happen. This is just a precaution so that farmers who have already had significant crop damage this year due to storms can work like crazy to get their crops planted before the storm comes in, just in case. It also prevents price gouging, in the event that something does happen.
From the governor, "We're going to do everything we can to be over-prepared and hopefully underwhelmed".
I would venture than moving it earlier would be better for the state if the game stayed at Chapel Hill. Law enforcement and fans (of both teams) would be more concerned with cleanup, power outages, and looking for lost people at 7:30 pm Saturday.
Got ya.
Stay tuned - will keep fans posted #BeatUNC https://t.co/D50r09R2jBβ VT Football (@VT_Football) October 4, 2016
#Hokies have played in hurricanes before. We're keeping our eyes on the barometric pressure in Chapel Hill. #HurricaneMatthew pic.twitter.com/GYI7arsQHJβ VT Football (@VT_Football) October 4, 2016
Per the EDIT:
ACC: Too early in week to say if Saturday's No 25 #Hokies at No 17 UNC game will need to be moved or posptoned because of Hurricane Matthew.β Mike Barber (@RTD_MikeBarber) October 4, 2016
Yes very much so. We just used latex house paint so it came off in a stringy mess. At least we didn't have to clean it out of the drains in east AJ afterwards.
Can't embed cause I'm on mobile but VT twitter just tweeted that they'll keep fans posted about any type of contingency plan. They're definitely aware of the possibility. Seems like it would be smart to start making preparations, even if it doesn't end up happening
edit: ACC has stated it's too early in the week to decide on whether the game needs to be postponed or moved.

Larry Fedora thinks having to prepare for the hurricane(s) and Hokies in one week is NCAA punishment enough.
That A&M game was fantastic. I was only 11 or so, but I remember my dad convinced my mom to let him take my brother and I to the game to "get away from the storm" in Richmond. My mom had zero interest in attending, but wow that was fun. We just pummeled them in a complete downpour. And by the time I got back home, the storm was gone.
-Started well, that sentence.
-It got away from me, yeah.
If they went to their meeting they are ahead of 80% of the people down here. Too many near misses and people have stopped paying attention to the warnings. They don't know their zone, they don't know their evacuation routes.

My concern with IOP would be wind and roads. "Some rain" washing out roads, bridges and pipes, along with wind damaging structures and felling trees/people/cars are more likely than buildings getting washed away.
Got yourself a nice lead there!
GT consistently produces NFL caliber WRs even with PJ's system.
Um...like who?
According to this list, the only WR currently in the NFL from GT is Demaryius Thomas, who went to GT from 2006-2009. Chinballs didn't get hired until 2008. The only other WR of note from GT is the recently retired Megatron, who was long gone before CPJ showed up.

Good memories there - we knew that paint was coming off in short order, but that never stopped the Navs from having a painted contigency. A close second to how wet I was that game was I think BC 2007.
