A for effort though
Don't worry, you almost had something going. It's the thought that counts.
Larry Fedora doesn't re rack the weights in the gym.

Well IF they leave, Whit will hire someone great. But lets just take it one step at a time
Sh!t it'll be an emergency next Saturday when we hurricane up into Northern Carolina and dump forty inches of points on the Tar Heels. Better bring your umbrella Northern Carolina. It's going to be windy in the stadium, too, because of the hurricane.
This analogy didn't go as far as I would have hoped.

Saturdays are for Enter Sandman! Got this from VT Barstool @BarstoolVTech
They did go to their hurricane preparedness meeting this summer so I am sure they have all that stuff taking care of. For all I know they are heading out of town to get away from the storm. I am going to call them today.
You assume the state government cares about anyone other than Texas, especially if its 'do what's good for UT or do whats good for Houston, Rice, TT, Baylor, and SMU'... This isn't like the Virginia gov't railroading UVa into getting us into the ACC, this would be like the Virginia gov't saying that VT can't go to the SEC because it would hurt the chances of ODU, JMU, and Liberty getting into the ACC.
I imagine they'll have to pull the trigger today or tomorrow at the latest if they're going to move it to Lane, which makes the most sense to me. We'll just be the "away" team...lol.
My parents are trying to sell our current property which we've been using for boarding horses and all that jazz. Outside of Chapel Hill so about 20-30 minutes from Apex. Not to mention you'll also be an easy drive from two Virginia Tech away games every other year.
I definitely took a communion shot with you guys at Bristol. Didn't know y'all were TKPers.
I was 10 when Isabel rolled through but I remember all of the debris and damage. She was the strongest storm of that season but if I remember correctly I think she had dropped to a tropical storm by the time she hit Hampton Roads.
Gotta say, having the NC coast to take the brunt of the storm has probably saved Hampton Roads a lot of money and probably lives too. Seems like every hurricane I can remember that actually hit the area skirted the coast of SC, made landfall around the Wilmington area and headed straight overland through NC and VA.
Larry Fedora is still looking for Mark in Winchester
And, besides, not sure I believe him on that. We've all said that the job you currently have is your dream job. But if USC doesn't call or Texas doesn't open up, then you aren't that interested in them.
He said the right thing. But I wouldn't take that as gospel anymore than I take Whit's saying "Fuente was the only one we wanted" as truth. I would be shocked if they didn't check on Herman's interest.
Luckily there they won't have to really worry about storm surge or tress coming down. But being without power could be a real concern along with local flooding. Make sure they have water, food they can eat uncooked, flashlights with batteries at a minimum.
Fail.
Back to 0.500, time to make up some more ground this week.
I am starting to worry about my folks. They just retired to Myrtle Beach last Spring (in Market Common). Had a brand new house built.
Wait a minute...I don't remember getting paid for this.
It will have to be soon so that Tech can make sure they have a fully staffed stadium, security on hand, etc. Lots of logistics to figure out, especially if the regular game day employees were planning to have the day off.
She can crowd source all she wants, what she doesn't understand is that she is against a community of professional online voters.

No North Carolina... No Krispy Kreme. You're welcome.
Looking at the weather situation through my no-meteorological-credentials-whatsoever lenses, it looks like Chapel Hill will mostly be affected during the early to late afternoon hours.
I would imagine, if any pre-emptive schedule change is being considered, contingencies should be put into place for a 7:30 - 8:00pm kickoff. ESPN could bump the ESPNU game to ESPNNews, and show this one on the U.
