college football is a business, the kid made a business decision...why everyone can't be adults about it and let him take his career the way he sees best is beyond me. if coaches think he quit on his team that's something he'll deal with down the road

Larry Fedora thinks he wears a fedora better than Frank Sinatra

Larry Fedora and HightyTighty are friends who agree on music quality

if it's not us I hope no one makes it. I don't think recruits think, "Hey i'm going to go to VT because at least someone from the atlantic makes the playoffs." Having the other teams be consistently better than us just makes the coaches job that much harder to recruit.

That was my Rat year in the HT's and they wouldn't allow us to do our field show since they were concerned about the band doing damage to the grass(?). After we did The Walk they allowed us to put our rain jackets on over our Dress A's but by the time we got to them in the stands they were soaked as were our blue blouses so they did nothing.

Still had a good time and it was the first AME game I saw and it looked so badass. It was the wettest game I experienced until 2007 Boston College. Fuck Matt Ryan.

Eshiben,
Can you add a forecast for the Savannah Hilton Head area to the next forecast?
Thx

All my Hokie gear is maroon. This may stem from growing up near LOLUVa and thinking of orange as a cavalier color.

Also, I remember it was a regular thing on tailgate fever to deride orange and promote maroon.

We always get extra queso. Not sure what the problem is.

You just saved my life. Now I know which one to wear with my new cargo pants.

Same USF that is 4-1 and looks to be a much better team than anyone we've beat thus far? FSU is definitely not a top 10 team, but they have the talent to match up with anyone.

So uh Leonard... a friend of mine, yeah that's it, a friend of mine needs some betting advice...

Yep, 2003. Ship just pulled in (right behind storm) and I was by myself in Virginia Beach (wife was up in Shenandoah County where it was "safe"). That storm didn't do the typical northeast curve, but barreled inland sort of north-westerly.

We'd lost some shingles & siding at the apartment, but there was worse damage around. Not sure if that was the same storm where half the cars at the base were under 6 feet of water (we got pictures on the ship and couldn't do anything but watch).

Not too surprising... I never use my Twitter account, but twice after logging in after an extended absence I suddenly had hundreds if not thousands of follows. Seems like people track down dormant accounts and brute-force passwords, or possibly just cross-referencing login details from times when a site is hacked and plain-text passwords are stolen, and use them as bots. Probably easier than procedurally generating thousands of email addresses to create thousands of Twitter accounts to accomplish the same task.
