# | What other Cities could the ACC move the Conference Championship Game to. Why would you want the game earlier in the day? The TV numbers would drop heavily.
I'm an old curmudgeon who's lived in a number of states, so my "as long as they lose" list is longer than yours. UNC, UGA and ND are all on my list (had a very tough time choosing UNC-UGA on the opening weekend).
Washington DC has a lot more damp, dreary winter days than Charlotte.

Thats why I mentioned timeslot, getting this game in Charlotte at 3:30 and I think you can add GT, UVa (not that it matters), NC State, and Tech. So that brings the total up to over half of the conference, which is pretty good considering how spread out the conference has become. There is not a location that will ever encompass Cuse, BC, Miami, FSU, and Louisville and be convenient to the rest of the conference.

I could read the jersey numbers from the third row from the top of the sidelines seats at about the 30 yd line. My only gripe would be that it didn't feel like the opposing fans were even there (except for the Tenn band being pumped through the speakers for the 100th rendition of Rocky Top [wooh!], do they know how to play any other songs?) since they were like 150 yards away. Not quite the college football atmosphere I was used to.
Rogers was listed as a Fullback. And yes, Hodges at TE.

I hear this all the time about the destination outside of the game, but ticket and travel prices already have killed attendance at major sporting events. Can the average family afford to take a family to the ACCCG and Disney/Universal in the same trip?
I think proximity is the better strategy. Locations and timeslots that allow for a family to drive and not need a hotel would increase the profit and attendance by actually filling the stadium.

Eh for me the only truly important games are in two categories: the ones we can control (I.e. we actually play in them) and the ones UVA loses. Whatever happens in other games is entertainment but I don't consider them as important as the above. As long as UVA loses it will be a successful weekend. Whatever happens to the team we face next, we need to show up ready to get the best out of them. Every time.
All that being said, lots of great games this weekend. Can't wait to watch as many as I can.

I want to say UNC, but I'm not sure the outcome really makes a difference. If it is a close, hard fought, emotional game, I could see them being tired or overconfident next week.
If they get stomped, I could see them having to expose their entire playbook or new players we don't have film on yet, to our advantage.
Louisville/Clemson goes toward conference perception; it will matter more for us late in the season if championship run(s) are looming. But Houston will also have something to say about that.
I think the most applicable thing to watch for (outside of UNC film) is if Miami actually gets tested vs. GT. We get them on the short week, and I actually feel Syracuse could be our trap game; hoping for an injury free trip to the Dome with lots of rest for the starters.

It's all opinion of course. UTjr has not looked good in a single game I've watched. Struggling with app state (good team), us handing them the game, only beating ohio by 9 and then having to come from behind against a florida team who hasn't had a good offense and was on their 3rd string QB. They aren't a top 10ish team. They are probably in that 20-25 range IMO.
Um, is that a typo or a Bucky Hodges joke or real life?
