They beat the stuffing out of App State after they took Tennessee to OT. Other than that, nobody, but they've still beaten those nobodys pretty convincingly. I feel like they're about where we are, except we've lost our only true test to date, and they haven't really had one.
No, life can't be that cruel. If it did go like that the ending would be more like this:
Then you remember - all of the beer and bourbon was finished
celebrating the sweet victory over the team's previous opponenttrying to get 2 kids to bed. Out of resources, the BYE week team wins again.
It's not an obsession. It's just one of the running jokes in the TKP community, part of the irreverent fun around here. I don't think there's anything intrinsically creepy, weird, or inappropriate about it.
There's definitely some revisionist history going on, but I am pretty sure they only had one drive that resulted in points that didn't start on our side of the field. Their offense wasn't really rolling so much as it was landing in scoring positions and capitalizing. two of those fumbles were inside our five. Often they scored after the defense was put right back on the field after a defensive stop as well. No guarantee we win that game, but without all the self-inflicted wounds we would have been in great position to do so.
Well we didn't rank that high either, and we didn't have a QB that won the heisman.
I mean, I grew up with it as well. I love the books, just don't obsess over it though I suppose.
Honestly, if they ever hosted they'd probably sell the place out. Where you would see a problem is if Miami got in during a 'down' year for the ACC and had to host someone like BC or Wake. You might get 10k people in the stadium for that.
Oh man, could you imagine (capacity 31,500):

That's a top 10 team and he's got numbers better than Evans in every category (okay, he has 2 ints' to Evans 1).
You weren't wrong. Two is bigger than one.
One thing to remember is that a lot (most? Don't know the demographic) of the guys here grew up with the Harry Potter movies and Emma. So for them it's not pervy; it's nostalgic.

Not pervy - nostalgic
Also I don't know how to make this image smaller :(
Edited to reflect your edit.
For the sake of comparison, here's Randall's stat line from 2004:
55.6% completion rate, 2264 yards, 21 TDs, 9 INTs
511 rushing yards, 3.8 YPC, 3 rushing TDs
Here's Evans' production thus far (with projected totals if he sustains this pace over the rest of the regular season in parentheses).
67.0% completion percentage (67.0%), 970 yards (2,910), 13 TDs (39), 1 INT (3)
209 rushing yards (627), 5.2 YPC (5.2), 1 rushing TD (3)
Can just do "38-0 Bro" all the way around in a border...
It could be worse, it could be raining. damn it, it is raining. Well at least I am am not sitting in Lane this weekend.
I'm stoked about landing another Top 100 recruit!
Your gif makes me think about the cover of one of my all-time favourite albums:

Also, what is that gif from?
If I was a better painter, I would have made mine have hokie stone pattern with the fighting gobbler at the bottom.
Agreed but I think they're just trying to find different gifs for variety and not really looking at the age factor or thinking she's "hot" at 13
Stanford +3.5
North Carolina +11.5
Tennessee -3.5 YUUUUUUUUGGGE
Wisconsin +10.5 Bucky Badger is going into the big house, scare up some wolverines, and take the outright W.

With the weather the past couple of days, not sure what's on tap this weekend. Might just be a good day to work on some of this during the bye week.

They still had the offense rolling after the first quarter. There is a little bit of revisionist history going on on a lot of Hokies parts. We also sucked ass on offense for a good part of the game. Winning isn't a guarantee of we fumble less, it would just be closer.
Still don't think they "woke up." We handed it to them by fumbling 5 times in awful field position.
Delmarva got pummeled last night. Salisbury specifically had 2 systems collide and produce a major rain event and about a 4 hour long thunderstorm. About 8 inches over night is a nasty thing to wake up to.
Cambridge is prepping for the IronMan this weekend, and has had to take down some tents put up earlier in the week. Now, with the north winds, they are trying to figure out if the bike portion will be under water at high tide on Saturday afternoon (with the black moon, it's not helping either.)
On the bright side, it's not a hurricane....
Les says he's going to try to take in some UNC games this year. He may show up at ours.
