RichRod has a pretty sweet contract. I'd be surprised if Arizona fired him, they'd be giving up a ton of cash to get rid (sound familiar with this guy?), and I'm not sure they have that stashed away. I live in Tucson and I haven't heard any overt rumblings that he's in trouble. They're happy with bowls here (and beating Arizona State).
Preach! Another bonus is after shooting hours is looking for murkles (morels mushrooms miracles whatever else they are known by) nothing cures the wound of having a bird hang up on you like a big batch fried up.

Also, I feel like a good rule of thumb would be that if there is a well made VT football video not made by VT Athletics, then it was made by member here. We are so spoiled here.

Great piece. Thanks for sharing and couldn't agree more. We're also are showing signs of being able to consistently win the games we should. I think this stems from Fuentes focus on controlling the teams emotions. Being present in a play and not looking too far forward or backwards. Just be present in the moment. Hopefully, we won't be susceptible to the lows like we have in past. (Ie. OSU then ECU)
I didn't realize you authored the aforementioned blog. I loved it prior to TKP. But I'm dying to know something. Have to ask. Once they announced Loeffler I signed on a made my first blog post basically saying I thought it was a lame hire. He didn't have any past successes other than a mid-tier offense at Temple. Pretty sure someone pulled down my comment and always wondered. Did you really think he was a good hire or were you just ready to part with the blog?
That was a good tip, for sure. Practice on flat water with fish that will willingly hit your topwater bait is a great way to get the feel of how/when to raise the rod for the hook set. Line control is huge in fly fishing, and fishing calm water helps the learning of how to manage the line while working the bug and landing the fish. Stream fishing is definitely a harder endeavor. Nebraska has fixed it pretty quick, that being said I dont think georgia tech has the same kind of donor.pull. Its going to be really interesting for them, uva might have some company at the bottom

Another small observation about this staff's attention to detail: noticed on several occassions we were able to draw offsides penalties by having an offensive lineman tap a defensive player who crossed the line. Even if the defensive player was jumping back, contact immediately stops the play. Whoever taught our offensive linemen the simple trick of tapping an intruding defender was brilliant! I know I saw at least two or three penalties called on ECU because of this.
This is correct. I don't believe that Glennon was being booed but more the state of the program.
Then how do you explain the Tyrod chants and subsequent cheering when he got put in the game?

It's such a small thing, but no joke it's one of my favorite things he's added. Other than the fact he's got an offense that is scoring like crazy, of course.
I work with a guy who's a UVA fan, but know Sam Rogers. He asked if Sam scored a touchdown this weekend, and I told him that because there were so many touchdowns, I couldn't remember them all.

If he continues at his current pace we will be in the ACC-CG with 35 TD and 3 picks and you can rest assured that he will get his due.
I hope Evans and the team stay under the radar for a few more weeks. It keeps them hungry and humble and gives Fuente and staff more time to craft this team into the mad vision of utter dominance that seems to be his plan.
Ironic, considering last years discussions, but RichRod might want to win a few games.
