Indeed, but I'm not talking about men's basketball alone. In addition to James Johnson we promoted assistants to head coach in lacrosse, women's basketball, baseball, men's soccer, and women's soccer. Not all of these hires have turned out poorly (most prominently women's soccer) but the pattern and lack of searching for the best coach and fit for VT was egregious and detrimental more often than not.
I'm wondering if the team goes over to the band after every game and sings Tech Triumph. I've seen it on one video, but I'm not sure if they're trying to develop into a tradition or not. If so, would be great for the fans to stay and join in as well.
Agreed. It didn't matter what type of recruit we had back then. The play-calling would not have benefitted Mike's abilities. I was happy to see NC State's coaching staff run Russell Wilson out of town in order to start Glennon. That worked out well.
You can probably add Paul Johnson to the Hot Seat list. I'm hearing that is a mighty warm seat right now, and if they don't make noise in the ACC this year, he could be out.
He also gathers the team on the sideline before heading into the locker room for halftime.

Yeah but we really only would have benefited from him for one or two seasons, depending on what the staff would have done with him and redshirting. But I'm not sure he would have been an improvement over Logan Thomas anyway. Certainly not Tyrod.

I've always liked Adam and Joe to, but Logan and Glenn are definitely on another level.
And I understand how you cannot fathom how it could possibly not be an overall experience enhancing thing.
I hope you do not have to sit in the row with a screaming kid.
