It was the replay making the rounds on ESPN.... right up until Evans went and Ole'd the entire East Carolina defense
Bold prediction: If we beat Louisville in the ACCCG, we're left out of the playoffs with 1 or 2 losses.
A great way to practice that fly cast is to go to Pandapas and fish from the bank. There are some spots where there is plenty of room for backcasting just watch out for runners! The bass are pretty tough to get on a fly there but there are plenty of bluegill and other little panfish to catch. Try a small popper and you should catch several. I've taken a couple of people there to teach them to cast a fly rod and they have always caught at least two fish. Here's a pic of my buddy with a panfish he stuck on a popper there.

Definitely. I would say that him being double teamed "most of the time" is a huge stretch as well. All 4 guys playing at a high level up front is making a big difference for this defense.
Yep, I never saw that replayed at all. I watched SC and both college football highlights shows on Sunday morning, only Evans run was included. (better than UVA, who was included last week for their clock management and FG Fail)
Another advantage of ranked teams: your score scrolls across the bottom about 10x an hour, whereas us unranked plebs get their scored scrolled about 2x an hour.
Its hard to conduct a legit coaching search when you fire a coach a month and a half after the national championship game, long after the coaching carousel had died down. That was just a giant cluster from start to finish. We looked like a Mickey Mouse organization.
I think the success of the other linemen like Nigel, Ricky and Vinny have helped open up lanes for Ken too
And in both cases (Hokies & Eagles) TOP has benefited both Offenses greatly.
Precisely the reason that you can't take the rankings seriously until mid year. OU had a huge amount of hype preseason. For a program like there's, it takes 3 losses to drop out and even then, 1 win and they are back in.

In my opinion the problem far greater than even how Greenberg was fired was how coaching searches were being conducted. I'm trying not to pile on but the promises of a "national search for the most qualified candidate" did not come close to passing the sniff test before Whit took over.
HOKIES!!!!

What's wrong with his stache?
"But the SEC? They look like they either are or will be beating each other up. "
While it's accurate, I feel a visceral need to qualify this point.
Teams in the SEC will, indeed be "beating each other up," but not for the reasons that SEC homers will state (e.g., "we're just that good"). It's more a matter than most of the SEC teams have regressed, towards the CFB mean. UGA, USCe, UF, LSU, Auburn and MSU have definitely declined. Bama is the only standout. aTM and UT are undefeated, but they haven't exactly instilled confidence. Arkansas and Vandy are what we expect (though Vandy is def not as good as the past couple of years). Ol Miss is good, but not playoff caliber.
I think, personally, it is pretty obvious that Cal Naughton is Bud Foster
I will definitely stick with it while I'm up at Tech. Planning on going again this upcoming weekend. Just looking forward to improving and catching some nice trout.
Moe'sQdoba is better than Chipotle
And there is my answer down below
Can we talk about how ridiculous it is that OU is still receiving votes? How many games do they have to lose before they stop getting them? 6? 7?
An interesting thought. We went all of 2015 without getting ranked once. When was the last time that happened? Because even in 2012 and 2013 we were ranked for a bit. And before that we were winning 10 games and conference championships. It had been quite a while until 2015
Heck, they almost had another, this past weekend and would have had it, if replay didn't over turn it.
I had a few issues with the last play of the game.
First, the penalty and the clock restart. It really didn't seem fair to LSU. It was one thing if there was no penalty and LSU didn't have a chance to get up to the line and get the play off before they wound the clock after resetting the chains. But, with the penalty, that changes the entire momentum right there.
Second, and I'm surprised no one mentioned it, but was the QB still behind the LOS when he threw that ball? Even watching one of the replays, and it looked like he crossed the line before throwing. I figured that would be the bigger issue in that play. The replay would come back and say "we can't tell when the ball was snapped, but the QB crossed the line, so the play is null anyway, game over."
what was encouraging about that UT game was that the play calling was still there to put us in a position to win even when we were behind. Assuming our players have grown to trust the coaches more, I don't see us making the same mistakes that shot us in the foot that game. So even if we get behind, I think we can methodically claw our way back into any game.
I got a case of the Sads because you made it evident that we are already a quarter of the way through. I feel like the season is already too short. :(
and a second B1G or SEC team.
The B1G could maybe get a second team in there with Ohio State/Michigan being all sorts of crazy. But the SEC? They look like they either are or will be beating each other up. Probably the only way the SEC gets two is if Alabama loses in Atlanta.
But there are enough good teams in all of the conferences, plus Houston, that it's going to be hard to get two teams from one conference in.

The problem is when someone decides to start the wave right in the middle of an offensive drive. If you want to do the wave during a timeout or halftime, that's fine. But during play on the field? That looks absolutely embarrassing.
