I disagree that he has digressed over the year. The competition at thw atart was mostly weak thwn he had a drop,and now hes coming out of it. . Hes had to learn a new way to play. That takes time.
I think if Neo does another year of ACC basketball he will be much better and way more sellable to the NBA.
Two years to do that is not a long time.

Carrico got the start and did not have control with 4 walks across 2/3rds of an inning
Problem there is that almost every kid we have offered in next class have either committed elsewhere or are listed as cool on Hokies. May be forced to bring in only portal guys

Our roster this year is around $5mil.. word is that $9mil will be available next year. This is NIL & revenue sharing.
Part of that bump will cover inflation, but should also be enough of a boost to improve somewhat relative to the rest of the league.
A lot of our roster still has eligibility. Neo is likely on to the NBA, Lawal is done. But Hansberry, Hammond, Johnson, Gurdak Schutt, Dorn, Jones, can all return. Bedford may get another year as well. Need a PG and a SG with good size, maybe another PF/C and we'll be competitive again in 26-27

Depends on the level of help too, like they have help to prep a downed moose on the course then sure, cause some of that stuff is insane, but none of this sherpa carries some one up everest type thing.

With less than stellar pitching, need to leave up to their name 'Hammering Hokies' and score a ton of runs. The 'Getting Hammered Hokies' isn't a good look or desired outcome.
