Yeah for all the talk about this pitching staff being much improved they appear to be shaking in their boots from pitch one outside of Renfrow.

Believe last year was a 20-game conference schedule. This year is 18 games. So not exactly apples to apples, but shows only minimal improvement by games won. Also think this year's ACC is much better than last year.

Man, I really fell for it this year. The hype around the new guys and just how good they looked early on made me think we were immune to the whole "strong start, January dip, little run in February, peter out in March" thing. Shows you what I know, we even skipped the little run in February.

With 1 game to go, we have the same number of conference wins as last year. That's a failed season in my eyes when you look at this roster's talent vs that one. They should've won more, and they would've if they'd ever learned how to finish a game.

I'm with the others that don't see CMY getting let go (or fixing this) until he's ready to go. He needs time to coach his players up, he's the wrong guy for this plug-n-play era of college sports. But until we get our money up we're stuck with him. It is what it is. I'll always be grateful for that 2021-22 team.

Welp...losing to GT 13-1 in the 5th. Starting pitcher Ethan Grim lasted 1/3rd of an inning and gave up 7 runs.
