His skill level doesn't change the fact that 60 snaps gets you in the groove better than 30. Outside of injuries and additional reps for the backup, I still don't see how benching him against Liberty helps the team. You aren't hiding him from Tennessee.

You get a leg just for the name johnnyu19. Don't know how I could have missed it before. Guys my age who grew up within TV reception distance of Roanoke would have been able to watch him many a Sunday way back when. For some inexplicable reason by the early 70's, we were being force fed the Redskins. I liked Sonny Jergensen and Billy Kilmer fine, but they just were not Johnny U and his high tops.
Its All in good fun. My opinion is that VTs D is better, I'm in no way implying UT has a bad D. But in BUD we trust, I personally would have felt worse losing Foster than Beamer last year, You did see that our defense is playing more like 2004 instead of 2015 man coverage 100% of the time right? But it's okay, I want UT to dismiss BUD and our D, plays right into our hands.

As pointed out above most glaring issue to being compared to the pace of BGSU is lumping our defense in with BGSU's defense. Unreal. I won't be surprised if the Vols win this one. I think that game last week was a wake up call for them. However, contain the run and I like our chances.

What a shame. CSU is a very good FCS team. They made it to FCS quarterfinals last season where they lost to Jacksonville State. They're the team to beat in the Big South since Coastal left and I'd imagine it will be between them and Liberty for that playoff spot. Hope they get this worked out before their real season begins.
