If you're an Ohio State player, the NCAA looks the other way as you "buy" new sports cars. If you don't play for a blueblood, the NCAA suspends you for buying some candy bars and pencils with the excess book money. Justice.

The north east and most of the rust belt is going to be in for spotty showers all day

Can confirm. Already started (or maybe just got some Hermine on me).

North Carolina State -4.5 at East Carolina
Penn State at Pittsburgh -6.5
BYU at Utah -3.5
Arkansas at TCU -7.5 Woooooo Pig Suey-----Razorbacks!!!! (Best cheer in College Football)
Tennessee -11.5 vs Virginia Tech
Texas Tech at Arizona State -3.5

Funny story, right when I got my acceptance to VT, the first thing I did was go out and buy a football jersey. In Raleigh, wasn't that easy to find a VT jersey, even in 2002, but I managed to find a #22 white one at a local sports store. I was fairly naive at the time, and I remember wondering why there was no name on the back of the jersey, especially when the Nike tag and barcode were labeled "VT22SUGGS"

I made another post somewhere about Teller and how I believed it was all just a great ploy by Fuente and Co to throw off UT. I'm not saying I'm right yet as we'll know for sure tomorrow night, but I have heard from #sauces on the inside that my theory is all but confirmed. Also, we all know from over analyzing but our defense was also very vanilla by design. Yes, UT was also very vanilla but I think they ended up showing more of their hand simply to escape defeat last week.

Can not wait for tomorrow.

This is disgusting. A Notre Dame umbrella and a Tenn trashcan at the same tailgate. Fitting though as I hope that we rain on ND's parade and push Tenn to the bottom of the rankings dumpster this year.

We should have interviewed Mike & Mike this morning. Their Gameday pick of the week was the Battle of Bristol between Tennessee and West Virginia. They both picked TN. Wonder if they would feel different knowing it's VIRGINIA TECH!!!

I mean it's not like it's the big deal on their own network or anything...

I think when he looks at the television he wants to see him, staring right back at him

Be there in the A.M. with about 3 buses full of Hokies!

From this day forth you will be known as the urine ninja. Excellent work.

I'll be there in the morning beer in hand to follow your lead.

1. Shoop is historically good and you can't compare defenses directly (or predict future performance), but let's just say I'll take my established guy over your "new" coordinator who has yet to complete a season at UT.

4. I didn't take the time to make a table, but history favors VT in Passing Def. and Pass Efficiency Def. as well (excepting 2015 as an anomaly, but still top 50). You may not know our corners, but we are known for our corners.

I'm not a fan of the BGSU comparison, the same team that lost 77-10 to TOSU last week

For what it's worth, BGSU was a 10 win conference champion last year. Last year's coach, Dino Barbers, was hired by Syracuse this year, widely regarded as one of the better off season pick ups. If our offense plays that well, and our defense can play like a classic Bud Foster defense, I think we win. Of course, those are two big If's
