Correct but ND is power 5 level school while BYU is G5 level school.

# | Just when you think its not as fun to see UVa keep losing, remember stuff like this... I say, Carruthers, the recent campus sporting event was most disappointing for our side, wasn't it?
VolNation is a pretty reasonable board. I remember a lot of the talk there after the '09 Chick-fil-a Bowl was that we were a legit top 15 team and they honestly weren't at our level, rather than the typical SEC homerism bullshit and temper tantrums.
theyre both independent
Very vanilla- we didn't get a ton of read and inverted veer option, only two speed options, quick pitches etc. I don't think you are going to see Cam, Bucky, and Carroll as the guys getting the ball on jet sweeps that regularly.

# | Did Tennessee-Appalachian State Change Your Outlook of the Battle at Bristol? None taken. I didn't mean to come across as mad at your statements. It was more or less a heads up for future posts. Thanks for the apology, though!
just a big blow up of this:

I don't get the /s in this one
I didn't follow it that closely knowing that Liberty would have some red herrings scheme wise. I focused more on individual performance. I will find a small sample and take a look.
Still G5, like ND is P5.
More like a darkhorse to finish 7th....
...unless they beat Louisville and become this years Houston team and Babers becomes the new prince of coaching in which I will pretend that I saw it coming...
BYU is independent fwiw
Danny Coale caught that ball.

Fair analysis, will be interesting how the game goes.
That's fine and all, but that is too much of a top-down analysis for me. Looking at the actually game tape shows that we were missing assignments, getting beat one-on-one, and going down easily to contact. All that stuff has nothing to do with experimenting and trying different things out, that is the nitty-gritty of it. And that stuff needs to change regardless of if the personnel being used.
To be fair he was kicking against a nobody team.
whenever I hear about UVA fans talking about football this is how I imagine them looking.....

They address this further down in the comments and he admits to the mistake.
G5?
Very fair analysis!
They won 11 games last year, but let's remember the context. I guess they are a Sunbelt team now.
But Appy St literally couldn't throw the ball. At all. I know UT has a great secondary, but ASU just had to run it, even when they knew they needed to pass to put the game away. Liberty and ASU were similar in one thing: they both threw the ball with about the same efficacy.
Thanks for that story. We've got a good coach. The best players will emerge. I think circumstances will ensure that.
Noticed that. App St. is better than a number of P5 schools, but they are no where close to Houston.
And I think Houston has the claim to be the best G5 team in America until proven otherwise.

I have literally never thought a UVa Loss was less fun than any that have come before it. I bask in each of those Ls almost as much as I do in VT Ws.
