At the game, we could tell when they slowed down/sped up by whether or not we got the H-O-K-I-E-S HOKIES! off after a first down. More often than not, the band didn't even get to finish their parts before the ball was hiked.

LSU was overrated at 5 and everyone knew it. They were only there to hype Fournette, who gets NO help from the rest of that putrid offense. Wisconsin is not good, they're no better than fourth in their conference but could be as bad as 7th.

I've agreed with your thoughts on Mihota. Guy is a stud and I don't understand some of the doubters....obviously Bama saw something in him as well - that speaks volumes when you look at their DL recruiting.

100% agree with this. I'm actually watching the game back now and Travon almost looks timid out there. At times it looked as though he didn't want contact, somethings up there...

Did anyone else think Bucky wasn't doing a good job blocking when they were doing WR screens? I can recall two times where he missed a block and we got stopped for no gain.
Rewatching now, the utilization of Hodges, Rodgers, and Ford shifted when Liberty went up before half, the score to put us back up included Hodges on sweep action (bigger body to block) and inside power runs with Rodgers, and a Zone-read where Evans ripped that huge chunk with his feet. That series is what I think our O will look more like, and it really looked like we intetionally avoided it until it looked like our guys were deflating a little.
You could probably start that one today and I think we'd still have plenty of material come game day.
I just got to say that I'm going to really look forward to the "Hatin' on..." threads for when we play WVU next year.
Personally I don't feel like Rogers and McMillian were utilized intelligently. Fuente and Co. used Rogers on a lot of jet sweeps and speed option plays when McMillian or a wide receiver should have been used. The running game got a lot better when McMillian was used for these types of plays and when Rogers was used for power running schemes.
One positive I took from my vantage point in the East stands is that the 'MOOOOOOOOOK' chants are slowly but surely catching on. Let's keep that up.
