They look like they think he's a douchebag with a misplaced message...
Only gonna be me, my bro, and his fiance at my tailgate. We have 6 brats, 2 bags of chips, and a case of beer. We're good to go.
Just got a telescopic 20 foot flag pole for Bristol. It extends and you have a base that your car tire sits on. I've seen these at NASCAR races and I assume it's ok for Bristol (have seen them at Martinsville), but is it permitted on campus to tailgate? I have a VT flag I want to hoist. Thought tomorrow would be a good dry run for Bristol.
also I purchased by bourbon during my lunch break. So ready.

# | Did Tennessee-Appalachian State Change Your Outlook of the Battle at Bristol? I like Tech by 10. Tenn just doesn't have that much going.

# | Did Tennessee-Appalachian State Change Your Outlook of the Battle at Bristol? When I hear V-Tech I think more along the lines of the Honda S2000 variable cam timing system. That being said I hate being called V or Vah Tech too. Just use VT if you're too lazy to say/spell Virginia Tech or Hokies.

Run up the middle in honor of the late Coach Dooley.
Geez, give the new regime a chance. I still got a chuckle though. Have a leg.
Because the title of the thread is Predict our first play from scrimmage. Derp
I agree with vtkey, but I guess I would put it in a different light.
By covering up the wrongdoings of their coaches, it allowed for the DESIRED continuity (continuity is not always desired) of the coaching staff. Allowing a coach to remain the coach after knowingly breaking the law IS a competitive advantage b/c PSU had the benefit of continuing to use a coach who either belonged behind a defendant's desk or in a prison cell. If PSU (as an institution) had done its job, the coach would have been gone and would have broken that DESIRED continuity, which imho IS a competitive advantage. The program deserved to suffer.
That being said, vacating wins is also stupid.

Is there anyone else home? What did I eat last? Am I wearing pants? Can I dispose of the underwear easily so no one sees it? Need more info.
What about for us none beer drinkers? What's the alcohol of choice? I like a decent Canadien Club and Coke.
Jet sweep from the shotgun for 1/2 a yd.
Kickoff return for a touchdown, DUH
The really great thing about this year is I have no idea. And I don't think the other team does either.
I still think that vacating wins is stupid, regardless of the reason. It doesn't do anything to change what happened. With the GT example, them vacating wins doesn't help the other teams that would have played or won the ACC champioinship game that year.

Honestly, hit or miss. All UT fans are not this rowdy. But like someone posted above, there will be a lot of non-alumni fans, NASCAR fans, locals there. I think there will be several, at least more than usual fights/altercations. Those seating in the cut-off areas where BMS was divided for "sides" will be a hot zone.
BMS did a good thing by separating the fan zones, parking, and tailgate areas. Once you are exited from BMS, you'll be heading to friendly confines of the tailgate. The traffic jam that will happen will cause friction.
Last time we beat UT in the Peach Bowl, good portion of UT fans left early, but I did see close to 3 altercations. Not trying to scare anyone, but there will be a lot of moonshine and garbage spewing from Vol fans. On the flip side, I was inebriated and running my mouth on the walk to Georgia Dome lol. Little older now.
