Its a shame Brewer got hurt so early. Spring game Brewer was a different Quarterback. He was actually able to drive and step into some of his throws, Im not sure the season would have been different, but who knows.

I always thought it had to do with number of defenders on the LOS. Now I'm curious if I've been wrong this whole time.

Bud typically runs a 4-3 base defense (4DL 3LB) and the 4DL make up the even front. The bear front, adding a guy to the end of the line makes it an odd front with 5DL, effectively. Or, that's how I've understood it. Can't wait to see the answer on this.

it can be interesting. It's better with agencies that work together a lot , like around Lane. One off events can be a lot of Chiefs sometimes.

Played church league softball for a couple seasons with Martin, he's a cool guy. TONS of laughs and a great guy to be around.

Well hot damn that was a big 180 from last night, looks like despite my best efforts i still jumped the gun a little bit. The trough i was hyping up earlier in the forecast is giving way to a ridge thats developed actually about 30 miles east of my current spot. The trough didnt develop quite like i was expecting and this high is going to block off the soon to be hurricane and push it out wide. Now this is where things get interesting and kind of hilarious if I stick to the euro. The euro has the storm getting stuck right off shore after passing through north carolina and nailing virginia beach. It literally just sits there, trapped by the high pressure system, for about 4 days right off shore before breaking off and heading into the atlantic. However I'm more on team GFS which has it breaking off into the atlantic after a day or so. Regardless, virginia beach you're in for a rough outing lots of rain coming, I whiffed on my forecast and am more than happy to admit it because you guys are in for a beautiful game now!

High - 75
Low - 60
Precip - nada
Wind - little to none (gusts around 5)
Cloud Cover - partly cloudy

also for future reference if you guys wanna play around with the model data here you go

thats a side by side view of the gfs and the euro where the gfs is on the left and the euro is on the right.

the hpa is hectopascals and is basically how we measure height, the lower the hpa the higher in altitude we are. check out the surface view on the euro and watch the storm (its the giant low that passes through virginia beach) and watch it hover offshore for what seems like ever

I agree with this. This kid may be the answer to the H-back dilemma that French has written about. He may not have a fancy stat sheet at the end of the season, but if this offense turns out to be good then someone has played the H-Back spot very well.

While watching some film of the VT NCst game last year, I stumbled across a horrifying statistic: In the last quarter of the the Pitt game and the first quarter of the NC State game, we had a combined 11 yards of offense.

The kicker, we had -18 yards of offense in the last quarter against Pitt.
