Every time I read his name, I say it like the Crab People in my head, and then the damn song gets stuck in my head. "Look like crab, talk like people."

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I most certainly want to win because of the stage and implications (and to silence some UT fans).

Wild Turkey and cheese curds. And yes they are everything theyre hyped up to be

Last year the Ohio State game was Johnny Walker Platinum Label. This year for Tennessee it's Johnny Walker Blue Label.

Coincidental since its your handle, but when I was in school I made sure I always had Wild Turkey 101 at my tailgates. Beer and food choices would change depending on the kickoff time and how my wallet was looking, but the bourbon did not. I always felt like it represented the Hokiebird well.

It is the number on the line. Most teams run a 4-3 because in order to be affective with a 3-4 you really need a premier NT the can clog up the middle alone, and those are hard to find. The 5-2 used to be standard before passing took off, as you can count for every gap against the run, but is seldom used now because you lose a cover guy. kinda like how more teams are using 4-2 to get an extra DB on the field for pass happy offenses. One advantage of a 3-4 is you can use a very wide array of LB blitzes to bring a four man rush, making pass pro more difficult to pick up. The dis-advantage is the loss of heft in the power run game, especially without a massive run stuffer at the nose.

This is just a question for discussion. But does anyone outside of Southwest Virginia, as a Hokie, see this as a rivalry game like these Tenn homers do? I'm from Southwest Virginia and I don't like UT because of their fans in the area, but I couldn't care less about the so called "rivalry." If we are vastly outnumbered, that's largely what I attribute it to. Am I wrong in thinking that? Also, I still really hope you're right.

Can someone confirm that the Bud Foster Conference draft is 7:00PM Eastern Time? I can't recall if the ESPN App automatically corrects for time zones or not.

true...so sad.

Sorry, thought we were spotting MV7 around Blacksburg, since he was at practice yesterday. I was wondering if he was as upset as we are about Mike's Grill closing.

Sh*t, better'n going to them cowgirlies.

I thought it was the difference between a 4-3 (4 DL with 2 DT and 2 DE) and a 3-4 (1 NT and 2 DE), but still depending on whether you had an even or odd number of men on the line. paging french

Side note, I thought about this very briefly and if we were to follow the pattern of what State College has done, downtown would probably look a bit like this:

Convert all of Progress St to being one-way, rid it of residential homes, and develop the space between Main and Progress and DT business district, as well as the opposite side of Progress St. Make both Main and Progress two-lane, one-way roads, that split at Clay St or Washington St on the SE, and rejoin each other at Progress at Main. Everything spray MSPainted would be retail shops/restaurants/bars/etc.

EDIT: Interesting. In this image we see both Kent St and Penn St.
Penn State plays Kent State this weekend. #illuminati
