So I noticed google updated Bristol speedway with some football yardlines. I'm assuming many others like myself are wondering just how far away the seats will be and if I will need binoculars. There are other mock-ups out there but I took the liberty of scaling and superimposing my own rendition of Lane Stadium over Bristol Speedway. Looks like some seats will be the distance of the top of Lane's East stands which is not too bad. I'm still going to bring some pocket binoculars.

Just pull the trigger on Jerod already. Sheesh.
I just realized there is no South Bend ACC network affiliate nor one near by, which is weird. I know NBC does ND football, but they're still in most ACC sports. Like, what do they do for Basketball?
Side note I guess I can use espn3 for all games since the Fort Wayne, IN area shouldn't be blacked out due to the ACC network.
I heard Ricardo Young has been taking reps with the 1s
The girl in WVU colors (that might be black) in the top center better be a freshman and willing to learn how to properly dress for football.

So it'll take you about 7 hours and you may have to pay for parking and attendance, but this link should help you find a great place to watch the game.

I highly doubt that's possible.
I'm kinda curious how that works. I mean, if they're spending the money on those teams, shouldn't that count as expenses, thus reducing profit?
See, this is why you don't burn bridges as a player, coach, or a fan. I'm glad he's back and his experience is invaluable (both on the field and how much you have to lose by transferring).
He was given to us on one of the first days of practice to talk to. Had a great interview. But he must of said some things the staff didn't like because they won't let us talk to him anymore, and if we do, he defers a lot of questions back to Fuente.
If I had done that then we wouldn't have been able to have this lovely comment chain.
^^^This. I've spent WAY too much time and money there.
I live in the OBX, if I recall correctly from last year, Raycom airs on WGNT down here, so check the listings of your rental. Be warned though, if your rental has Dish Network, WGNT is blacked out due to their dispute.
If you are looking to go out for the game, Bernie's usually has a good amount of games on, as does BK Shuckers and Longboards both in Kitty Hawk, Mama Kwan's in KDH (not to mention the best fish tacos on the beach!)
edit: WGNT, CW and CBS are all blacked out on Dish
+1 for Mama Kwan's fish tacos
Bernie's also has great BBQ chicken pizza among other things and the staff has always been friendly, summer or off season, whenever I have gone.
to the guy on the front row on the far right. Fuentes class is NOT one you wanna sleep through!

what you don't see is the profit made will then go right back into the athletic department to fund the softball team, womens tennis, cross country, archery team, and many others.
Bad. Memories. Resurfacing. Can't. Block. It. out.
I don't know how it's gonna work with the new media deal, but I found better luck streaming it through the ACC website and app instead of ESPN3. Since the ACC Network has so many TV affiliates (which leads to the ESPN3 blackout), I really have no idea where one actually would watch it on ESPN3.
As soon as I find a link from the ACC about the affiliates for week 1, I'll be posting it here. The link that Hokie Fireman posted is a good place to start, but occasionally a game will get bumped to another station due to prior programming commitments. For instance, in Richmond, the ACC Network was on the Fox station for years, but last year, about half of them ended up on the CW. This year, we're starting out on the CW, so it might just stay there. (Which makes more sense, as the local CW station is owned by Raycom, and doesn't have any other football commitments.)
According to TitanTV.com, based on the zip code of 27943, it looks like the game will be on the CW station down there (channel 9.2). It also gives an option of the Norfolk/Newport News based stations, so WGNT 27.1 might be an option.

EVERYTHING the ACC puts out will be available to stream now on the watch ESPN app. If you need an account, I've heard Slingtv is worth the investment just for football season.

Just curious here, but if the formation changes pre-snap does the nomenclature change to the new position, or stay the same as if it were motion?
