I feel like a bunch of others on this thread, in that I hope this kid commits, because a uniform reveal is typically a big deal. This is kinda like our "driving to a camp in a questionable school colored Lambo" moment in recruiting...

I dont mind going black or gray for some alternate jerseys but I still want at least a hint of our school colors. The two black jerseys still had orange and the gray jerseys vs miami had maroon pants. Maybe they're going for a historical reference here. Our colors used to be black and gray before we changed to maroon and orange, but we changed them because people said we looked like we were in a prison uniform

# | Freshman Josh Jackson "not really surprised" to be in the hunt for quarterback To me, it seemed like giving the upper classmen a bit of a nod while not promising anything. Also let's you see if the freshman has that drive to succeed or is accepting of his place for nothing based on ability.

Hm. To each their own. I like the pants and helmet the best myself. Either way, the fact that Hunter is the one to reveal this is huge. I don't think he commits right now but it's coming.

While I don't disagree about the maroon comment above, I do think the black/grey will contrast better on TV with the UT bright orange/white.
And I'd say these are better than the Boise St black/orange "Halloween" unis!

# | Freshman Josh Jackson "not really surprised" to be in the hunt for quarterback Typically, you're also concerned with size with freshmen. But, size wise, he's good at 6'1" 211 lbs. For reference, Tyrod is 6'1" 215 lbs, and Russell Wilson is 5'11" 215 lbs.
Maturity and confidence also do not seem to be issues. I really see no hindrance to starting him, if he actually has Evans and Motley beat.
Is this our first look at the Battle At Bristol uniform?
Interestingly, USCw went to national championship games and played against Oklahoma and Texas, so not only did we not see USCw against Miami in their contemporary heyday (2001-2002), but we never saw them against an SEC team either. USCw beat Iowa (2002), Michigan (2003, 2006), Illinois (2007), and Penn State (2008) in Rose Bowls that were not for the national championship.
Personally, I'd love to see 2001 Miami play whichever Alabama team Saban picks but a Carroll USCw vs a Saban Bama would be awesome.

There are aspects I like (hokie stone jersey) and parts I dont (black pants/helmet). I think the uni would look better if that jersey was paired with maroon pants

A little slow getting this out. Went on a charter with Down East Guide Service for red drum. Caught 17 total. 9 slot reds. A 30", 3 31", 2 33", 35" and a massive 50", 40 lb old drum. All of them were caught on medium rods with 2500 or 3000 series. We set up to specifically target old drum later in the evening but only caught cow-nose rays. Overall, a great day and a lot of memories with my dad and grandad.

Really like the helmet and pants not sure about the jersey but I like how they were revealed
