I'm doing a little maintenance on the RV today (sanitizing the fresh water system, etc). If anyone has any questions about this stuff before they go to Bristol, I'll he happy to answer them as best as I can. I have some homemade contraptions for storing/pumping fresh water into the RV and a DIY macerator pump that I can share details about.
I like this one the best. All are reasonable. We can still accomplish it and go 8-4 which isn't too bold.
A matchup I would've loved to see would be Carroll's Trojans vs Saban's Tide. Now THAT would be an epic game.
TE O.J. Howard for Bama had 5 rec. for 208 yards and 2 TDs against Clemson in the Champ game.
I just want to beat Tennessee. I don't care what else happens.
That was a rough game. My buddies friend game to visit that game, he was a Maryland student. And, doing my duty as a football fan, proceeded to shit talk with him all game. Ate some humble pie that day...
Is it from Tim Hortons?
Brits got similarly dq'ed in the 4x400, allegedly changed lanes prior to a handoff
Asking for my friend... the USC OJ reference is OJ Simpson but my friend doesn't get who the Bama OJ is. Please help my friend, he's a little slow.

What I really want for this season is for it to start. Two weeks and less than an hour, bay-beee!
Yeah I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, that's why tried to word it in a certain way to avoid that. But it still makes me laugh when I see it I think of this

I agree. From all accounts Jackson seems to be the best option right now. That seems to be without playing for the future alone. I truly don't believe Fuente would start a guy who isn't the best when he has so much offensive talent around him. With that said, I'm so ready for speculation to be done with. Just two more weeks.
The US team lost their appeal, and their bronze for the 4X100.
The Olympics is all about timing, qualifying, and "peaking". Shame about the bronze, though.
Would not surprise me at all if Jackson is QB1. I have been saying for a long time Fuente seems to play the long game. He did with Lynch and it obviously paid off for them both.
It's always a 2 horse race until it's not.
To see the "oh shit" look on Tennessee's face in week two.
The only thing that confuses me is if Jackson had even the slightest chance if winning the battle, why parade Motley and Evans in front of the media as a 2 horse race?
We're actually in the campground right now. A few (like 10) of the RV spots have been seeded/strawed and not overly grassy right now. There's a creek onsite, if you're into that kinda thing, bring some swim attire...it's nice. I also forgot about the shuttle/schoolbus in the campground...runs thru the property and then all the way down to the track. I asked my friends what they would say, two answers I got: "don't bring a civic" and "Bring a good attitude"

# | Freshman Josh Jackson "not really surprised" to be in the hunt for quarterback If Jackson looks like he's ahead of everyone else, then I'd be very excited to see him start and get four years of starting under his belt. Paxton Lynch redshirted in Fuente's first year at Memphis. Fuente became Co-OC/QB coach at TCU after Andy Dalton became the starter. Fuente has never chosen a true freshman QB before.
If Jackson looks like he is even with the other two, then Jackson should start. All things equal, he could develop for four years as the starter, while Evans can only give us two years and Motley is in his last year. No reason to invest in Motley or Evans if Jackson is even with them already.
hah..good point..
Shockwave, is that you?
Swim Shady is an absolutely brilliant nickname
Fuente gets his O up and running to his standards our D will be spending a lot more time on the field.
Wrong. As it has been pointed out, Memphis' TOP was less than 2 min different from VT's. VT went 3-and-out way more often than Memphis. Memphis scored way more often than VT. So, effectively, Bud's defense will have to play just about the same amount as they are used to. The only difference being that instead of trying to keep the game within reach, the defense will be defending an actual lead. Because this team will score more than previous versions.
Also, Fuente has said multiple times that he doesn't want to go fast just for the sake of going fast. He wants to control the tempo and not leave his defense high and dry.
Unless of course we develop a running game to go with a air raid attack...
I don't think this statement could be any more wrong. Fuente runs a run-first spread attack. Not the air raid. they are completely different.
Those are some good points, i.e., benefits not applying for upperclassmen.
Should be interesting to see him take the field if he starts.
