There's a lot of preference involved in shows. I totally see how someone else would have enjoyed it less. Personally, I think the stress level of the last few episodes of season 1, and all of season 2, was appealing to me.
can we still have flipping running backs?

what about flipping wide receivers?

Because people buy it
One of the Wake admins had an interview with News Channel 14 here in NC over the weekend, and went into detail about why they went this direction. The main reason he mentioned was that, when speaking with other schools that had gone this route, fan behavior actually improved after the start of sales, as they saw a sharp decline in people over drinking prior to games, as they knew they could continue drinking in the stadium.
Secondly, he mentioned that Wake expects to make about $100k extra in revenue over the course of the school year due to alcohol sales.
wait wait wait wait waaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiit
Hold the damn phone.... Does this mean the door has been opened for ABC Stores to be open on Sundays?

# | Virginia Tech Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster Addresses Media at Hokies' Media Day If I add everything up, I think what I've heard so far is they are going to a 4-2-5 base against most teams, changing the coverage techniques for the DB's, not flipping the corners, going back to basics (i.e., more complexity) in scheme in the secondary, and keeping the same basics in scheme on the line.
Let me translate that coach speak about handling the ups and downs of a game into something easier to remember:
... eliminated picture that was here: may be too graphic for good taste. Motto was: Determination, still finishing even when shit happens.
Given that prices will likely be high (and I'm sure fans will anticipate that) it wouldn't be at all surprising to me if fans who wish to consume alcohol continue to smuggle their own stuff in.
Agreed, alcohol at sporting events is like candy at movie theaters.
Noted. Have attempted to soften impact of graphics somewhat by eliminating them. :--), Sorry for temporary lapse in good judgement.

Yeah as impressive as Bolt's obvious greatness is, Gatlin being medal-caliber over 12 years vs Bolt's 8 years is really impressive.
Yes, Sobczididdlydoodak too, I forgot about him
not even surprised
WHAT?

I don't know anything about what goes into selling beer at a college football game but I'm going to assume they have to pay a huge sum of money for a liquor license to sell it and there are probably state regulations requiring a certain number of law enforcement members on duty per capita for events where alcohol is sold. Added staff and licensing equals added cost. Will the alcohol sales be enough to recoup those costs? Given that prices will likely be high (and I'm sure fans will anticipate that) it wouldn't be at all surprising to me if fans who wish to consume alcohol continue to smuggle their own stuff in. They not only get to drink what they want, but they can do it much cheaper.

Not sure how Minn did considering it had to be setup for the NFL. But for schools who have never done it the initial cost of putting in the infrastructure plus training employees, plus signage, plus hiring more police officers, plus the ABC license would cut it I first few years of revenue.
Was very happy that Gatlin managed to tie the record at 3 Olympic medals in track and field in the same event in three different olympics. Was to my mind slightly more impressive than Bolt managing to do it as well because Gatlin served a suspension that caused to him miss the 2008 Olympics. Any track star that can win at the Olympics over a 12 year period is REALLY impressive.
I love how everyone is looking at him in disgust...
But better things come in BIG packages [what she said].
Congratulations.

How do you lose money selling beer?
I think it's generally a guaranteed money maker.

This is what I haven't quite got a handle on yet...
So I know Bronco was getting his house built/remodeled/whatever and living out of an RV.....has he switched to a shopping cart, like some homeless dude?
