Kendall Fuller has been getting a lot of hype on 106.7 the fan in DC, they are predicting he at a minimum earns the starting nickel roll. Supposed he looks fully recovered from his injuries and subsequent surgeries.

I strongly disagree. Please just take him for 30 mil at this point. Id be shocked if we could break even on him let alone turn a profit on him. Everton want him too

Yeah it's kind of a shame La Liga and Serie A and Ligue 1 don't really get the press EPL and somewhat the Bundesliga get in the USA. It would be nice to see more of those top teams/story lines from those leagues to open up soccer to America other than the handful of powerhouse teams. I like the idea of opening a thread for each league. Would be nice to see what other fans think or some of the story lines that come from them. Good idea!

While that wouldn't exactly thrill me, it'd be better than Theo Walcott (as of late anyhow).

There is a 0% chance of Arsenal and Costa ever aligning in this world.

I'm pretty sure there would be an assault charge if he was ever seen on grounds.

I witnessed this interaction at a LOLUVA game a couple of years ago at a gate between a student age wahoo with cargo shorts attempting to enter and a security peson doing bag checks:

security guy: Excuse me sir, what's that in your pocket (points toward open, bulging, side pocket on shorts)?
wahoo: (who had obviously had a few, starts to reach into his top pocket) Just keys...
security guy: Not that pocket, the bottom side one.
wahoo: Oh...um...that? Um...that's just...um...a bag of alcohol.
security guy: That can't go in sir, you need to return it to your car or toss it in the can.
wahoo: Um...I can't take it in? (slightly slurred)
security guy: Car or can, sir. NOW! (security guy was getting irritated because the wahoo was holding up the line)

wahoo mumbled something and tossed the bag in the trash and went in. I watched him for a bit as he weaved his way toward the stadium. Kid wasn't even smart enough (or was so trashed) that he couldn't even come up with a good lie. It might attest to a statement I saw a while back: Three things don't lie....very small children, very drunk people, and yoga pants.

UT also has been known to wear a smoke gray with orange numbers. It's a sharp look IMO, so I wonder if they might actually go gray.

Which would allow us to go a number of different directions (white, maroon or orange). It'll be interesting to see.

Here's the thing, we don't have any FCS teams on the schedule past 2021. There is an empty slot in 2022, and then we're full in nonconference until 2026. So, we're probably moving away from that anyway. (I just want to make sure we keep that Richmond game on the schedule in 2021 for family/personal reasons.)

What the ACC mandate would do is probably cut down on the ECU/ODU combo deal, which we get in 7 of the next 9 years. (2020 we only get ECU, and 2021 is that magical year where we get neither -- seriously VT/ACC, don't do anything that will mess up with that awesome schedule.)
