Okay, now I actually get it. Looked like an R with a D in the middle, for Ryan Dye. But really R for Richlands. Not sure if Strasburg ever played you guys back in the day ('90s).

This is just the natural progression of what has been the industry standard for decades. In the 90's you had colleges flooding the postal service with letters to recruits, and now you just have them flooding their twitter, facebook, instagram, snapchat, etc.
The only difference I see between that and what we have now is that what we have now is far more instantaneous and a lot more public than it was before. But hey, that's just a product of the internet and social media age in which we live. But I don't really find it that ground breakingly bad compared to what it was before, its just that now we all get to see it exposed for what it is.

I like how it sounds as though he is embracing a move to larger defensive ends.
A recruiting guru once said a player's recent "following" and "likes" on twitter are very telling. With this new NCAA rule, I was being slightly stalkerish.
With that said, Tahj has an interesting group of people who he is following within the past few days.
On the flip side, Jordan Williams is no bueno on his recent "following."
Every time I hear "repressed" this pops into my brain.
