Cracking down on recruiting violations for golf would be so NCAA. I can see the headlines now " Va Tech receives the death penalty for inappropriate benefits for golf recruit. In other news, UNC's athlete gpa a shining example of putting academics first..."

In think I kinda would like to lose to them (if we have to) when they're "good". 4-7...VT lost to the worst team in the league - adding insult to insult. Say they were 8-3, at home, our post season fates already sealed, and we just run out of gas or have key injuries, giving them their (one) best season in decades. {sandwiched between 15 win seasons for the good guys, of course}
