I imagine that is better for playing against mobile QBs?
I'd really like to see how we handle mobile QBs this year. UT will definitely be a challenge.
That actually made me think of a question. When we played Michigan in the Sugary Bowl (yes, Danny caught the ball) their QB couldn't run at all. Since then it seems like we have had issues with mobile QBs. Has the scheme changed? Is it a personnel issue? A bit of both?
Let's minimize big plays, get off the field on 3rd down and let Fuente's offense do their work.
Frank is looking good! Back to his younger self!
Three key takeaways:
1. Nicolas was inconsistent. Speed does not matter if you don't use it properly. Foster is looking for stability. People use the injured hands excuse a lot. The bowl game against UCLA showed some tendencies in which Nicolas would lose containment, rush past the QB, or not get there. We may not have the speed, but if we do contain, do have discipline... Hard with you ones but...
2. We were not able to do some things with Deon Newsome......
3. Injuries in the CB
two words, forward tees!
girls from NC that are 75 and 83
They seem a little old but if they can play sure bring them on.
You got something against golf?
Great work Alex, come to TKP for th articles stay for Emma.
And no mention of Settle (I guess there is no history so there's that). I hope he's our secret D-line weapon.
I agree with much of what's been said on TKP over this summer that his "twitchiness", quickness (yes to me those are different "things"), and size should be able to tie up more than one blocker allowing our DEs to be more productive.
Can't Wait!
Put some Happy Gilmore on it.
I think you found the biggest chunk of info about our D last year. Good observation. That just makes so much sense now that Bud said it.
The only thing I have to say is that I'm not ready to lose to Miami three years in a row. Nor can I handle having a losing record to Duke over four years (if we lose this year). That is all.
August 4th

FWIW, also signed a pair of twin girls from NC that are 75 and 83. Good to build on a young a program with tight-knit players.
And WTH is the kid from Blacksburg going to West-by-god Virginia??!!
You're thinking about it from a purely logical position, but that's not how decision making works. No one is sitting there counting retweets and comparing them to other schools and explicitly saying that's what is going to make a difference. But every recruit is thinking about their personal relationship with a coach or staff. They're thinking about how much a staff wants them. They're thinking about the intangible good feelings they get from the idea of a given school that is based on positive personal interactions, attention given, and the like. People interact on social media and so little things like retweets and favorites become a very small fraction that gets blended into all of those things that ultimately do make a difference.
I can't believe people would rate themselves on how they're seen on a social media site...
**searches frantically for just the right emma gif for this post so as to garner maximum turkey legs**
Walk up music, like a reliever coming out of the bullpen!!!!
Although after walking up to the first tee after hearing Sandman, I wouldn't be able to calm down enough to hit the first shot.
I'd say it doesn't really matter too much. It's more for notice purposes and nobody is confusing Virginia Tech University with anything other than Virginia Tech.
This is all typical language for event tickets (which are considered licenses). The whole VTU thing seems like an oversight or maybe a jab by whoever printed it.
[also none of this should be considered legal advice]
Apparently Bud is.
Everything, from the size gains to Edmunds staying at backer after there were lots of rumors that he would be moved to defensive end seems to indicate a more base, gap sound Hokies front six this year.
Does anyone know the August practice schedule?
I've turned off 4 accounts so far today. Who's next?

Then it is motivation.
