Not overly exotic, but coming back to Charlotte on a redeye from San Diego a few weeks back, I got a GO HOKIES! from 3 different people who weren't together. I thought that was pretty freaking cool.
"Ok Tyrod, you just throw the ball as far as you can and we will film it from three different angles in this empty parking lot!"-director

"Don't worry about all that, the cars not important, the guy in the bubble vest will do all the work"-director

We saw earlier in the series that Stannis was prepared to legitimize Jon and grant his rights to Winterfell back to him.
Obviously this is the first time that anyone would have dealt with a NW member being relieved of his oath by dying and then coming back to life, but the northern houses clearly seem to interpret that as him having his rights restored.
I don't think it necessary. All the midwives know is that Lyanna had a baby. They don't necessarily know how she got pregnant 9 months prior. I doubt they even play into the story at all - GOT has like 15 episodes to wrap this up. Ain't got time to tie up all those little loose ends.

in key west two weeks back and the first stop I make when I get it in is a starbucks while im getting out of my car a group of 4 hokies class of 82' are getting on their Harleys notice my VT license plate and we spend the next 30 min or so chatting about Blacksburg and hokie tales. not often do I go somewhere that I don't see a hokie.
I was in cinque terre and saw a guy on the train (can't remember what town we were heading to) rocking some sort of Tech clothing. He was on the other side of the train so I didn't say anything. Either the two of us were there at the same time or we really are everywhere.

Smith is from rural south Georgia; 75 miles to Macon, 75 to Valdosta, 150 to Jax and Savannah, 180 to Atlanta. Six of the teams his HS plays have "county" in their name. Based on his coach's comments in the OP he may not have means to play the camp-based ratings game.
Guarantee at least a couple of FSU, UF, UGA, Clemson, GT, Auburn, and/or USC-E will be at the Tift County game this fall. Fortunately, they play Thomasville at home.
My greatest fear is dementia or Alzheimer's. The thought of slowly losing who I am, who I was, and the memories that brought my life meaning is beyond a nightmare. Prayers for the Summit family. Pat was one of a kind and made woman's basketball relevant. I would have loved to see her coach a men's team. She was so much more than just a women's Coach
RIP Pat. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. Very hard on an individual and a family. My condolences.
Her son definitely didn't help her situation but if the rumors of her dementia are true, she was probably unaware of it all and in all honesty, thank god.
The wife and I travel out of the US frequently and 95% of the time we encounter someone from Hokie Nation and offer a "Let's Go, Hokies!". From Zermatt, Switzerland, the tiny island of Malta, to islands of the Caribbean. Love seeing VT represented everywhere.

I've noticed that unlike UVA (and many other fans), that hokies will actually say something, vs just look and think to themselves "oh thats nice". I get talked to by other hokies probably 75% of the time outside of NOVA (and 10% within NOVA), which I think is pretty neat.
She was a great coach and person. May she RIP.

Also, I believe many early draft picks of linemen are also 2-3 stars coming out of high school. I wouldn't read anything into this other than "they're hoo's so they should be treated accordingly"

...I think there's just a lot of people who are really down on the Hokies lately. The shine of the 10 win season days has definitely worn of for casual CFB fans.
Back in 2008, I was at Philmont Scout Ranch leading my oldest son's trek. I was in THE grocery store in Cimarron, NM and the manager was sporting a VT T-shirt. (Her niece from Taos was a freshman.) Funny thing was I had just been ragging the other scoutmaster I was with (who graduated from Chapel Hill) about how Hokies were everywhere after seeing a Hokie bumper sticker in Colorado Springs just days earlier.
This is going to be a phenomenal opportunity for Fuente and Co. I hope he is able to capitalize in the National Spotlight. Show off some of that Hokie Swagger.
