i always where the colors when we are not home. The best reactions were in Miami where scUM fans really hate us. Ass holes.
can see this being worked out a lot better in the books where Martin will have the time to go through Tommen's motivations, where the conversation will be something like "Mom, if you do that I would have nothing to live for..." and Cersei resigning herself to the fact that Tommen is already lost to her.
But wow, it became pretty obvious to everyone that this is what she was going to do, still a great arc and scene.
I have seen/talked to a couple people here in London for the few months I've been here.
There are a handful of us on the base I work on in Spain, including another in my office. Always makes me homesick to see the maroon and orange
I totally agree with Peter Griffin on this one and I didn't say it was a great or exciting entrance. I said it was a famous one, and it is. Plus, the Hokie players running out of the tunnel also jump up and touch a rock....
Ey! I worked with that guy in undergrad. Cool dude. There's a few hokies up here in "basically canada"
Client of mine told me Sunday that VT "better watch out because UVA is going to be really good this year and probably beat the Hokies. " After I got through laughing for at least 45 seconds, I asked who he rooted for... Notre Dame. This guy may not end up being a repeat client, but I'm wondering are there lots of people out there besides UVA fans who think they will actually be any good???
Cooperstown, NY. I have seen many people in Hokies colors!
Yeah, Tommen took "Kings Landing" a little close to heart
You're certainly not wrong, but it will make a win and Fuente's coming out party that much sweeter.
I was in a bar in Abu Dhabi by the Yas Marina Circuit for the first time (that I frequented the rest of my time there). I walk in and immediately get a Go Hokies from a regular there. He graduated I think in the early 2000s or late 90s and moved to Abu Dhabi I think for work. I was already drunk so it is difficult to recall the specifics of the conversation. I kept seeing him the rest of the times I was at that bar. Always a loud Go Hokies when we saw each other.
To be completely fair, they're taking a lot of lineman. Lineman are always ranked a bit lower because they're a bit tougher to project. No one is ever entirely sure how a 17 year olds body will react when they get in a college weight lifting program, some guys can't add any weight while others add 70 pounds. Not having watched the film they're probably ranked lower in part because they're a bit lighter. Also as a general rule, I hate freaking out about recruiting rankings in mid summer, these guys are going to be reevaluated like 3 more times before they sign. Some guys go from top 100 players to mid 3 stars while unranked dudes become blue chip prospects off of senior film.
None of that matters if we win the game. Winning matters a lot more to recruits than exposure on Gameday.
Of course, this is the prestigious law firm originally kept on retainer by the UNC athletic department.
And will last 250k miles.
Too bad he used so many miles running back and forth due to woeful o-line play.

Edit: Ok, I love this image so much I'm making it my new avatar.
I am not afraid to admit I loved every one of these and don't find them nearly as corny as all you had me scared they'd be. Those were great hahaha
Yep this is accurate, although I won't be at all surprised if they get beamer himself up there
This is true... good thing I will be there and not listening to it
Just to reinforce the place of US Soccer worldwide...
Iceland is a country with a population the size of the metropolitan area of Lincoln, Nebraska or Spartanburg, South Carolina...
The US is ranked 31, Iceland is ranked 34
Pardon me if I'm not overjoyed... this is going to be a SEC love fest and they're going to spend 95% of the time reminding everyone why Tennessee is so good. And, oh right, Fuente is replacing Beamer, they'll have a quick segment on that before going back to the SEC.
I meet Hokies and Hokie Fans everywhere, honestly I'm more surprised I don't see a Hokie out and about even on vacation. Like at Disney Friday I was surprised I only got one "Go Hokies"
I haven't had many encounters with fellow Hokies that were particularly noteworthy for their randomness, although, I do see more than I would expect out here in New Mexico.
However, once, when I was living in Nantes, France, I was wearing a "Virginia is For Lovers" shirt on a tram on my way home from work, and some guy started talking to me about it. He had apparently lived in Charlottesville when he was a kid, and his parents owned a restaurant there. I have family in Charlottesville, so I told them about the encounter, and it turned out said restaurant was next door to the bakery that my family there owns. They knew this guy's dad pretty well, and even remembered him from when he lived there. It was a pretty crazy "small-world' experience.
I also ran into a couple who were UVA alumni when I visited the Louvre. Both of these incidents struck me as pretty random at the time, but I suppose, given the enormous overlap between Hoo and French stereotypes, it really isn't all that surprising.
Would of rather had #GameDay4Frank but I'll take it.

hopefully book six will split the difference between the next season.
