Cousin, no?

'Cuse had a couple of years with McNabb where they gave us fits, and we had some great games. That does not make me want a rivalry with them. Very similar to how I feel about BC. We really need to have a rival who has a fanbase that cares about College Football.
So Daenerys is Jon Snow's aunt. Didn't see that coming.
I tried to count all of the pancakes in the video, but I lost count about halfway through. I think it would be easier to count the guys that he didn't put on the ground.
Every GoT episode should be written with Olenna and Tyrion dialogues as requirements.
Wow.
Olenna is fantastic, one of the most entertaining characters in the show for sure.
He's clearly the most conflicted character. Occasionally driven by love, other times by honor, never by a thirst for power though it seems. He's the kind brother who set Tyrion free and the cruel brother who pushed a child out a window for his sister's love. He's torn between being the Kingslayer, a name he has moved far away from but that he cannot escape, and being Ser Jamie, Lord of House Lannister. While other characters have far clearer motives or reasons behind what drives their actions, Jamie is one of the only who is torn in many directions and that's what makes him so captivating. Like the old cartoons with the devil and the angel on a character's shoulders, Brienne and Cersei sit on either side of his.
Lets also appreciate that Dianna Rigg used to be a bit of a smoke show:

I think Jaime might be the most interesting character in the series. My wife always laughs because years ago when I was reading the books I would tell her parts of the story, and through sharing my thoughts on them she would remark 'Wow, your opinion of Jaime has really changed".
At this point we know the MO and thought process of pretty much every major character, except for him really. I think "where is he going?" might be one of the results I am most looking forward to seeing here in the home stretch.
BOOM...knowledge
and here I was thinking we were talking about "no offense Frank."
Let's all take a minute to appreciate Olenna Tyrell for this. "Let the grown women speak."
I'm just ready to see the full effect," Smith said. "The dorm room I'll be staying in, the classes I'll be having, I think I'll be more comfortable when I get a chance to see all those things."
Even though it was a very small portion of the article, it gets me even more excited when the recruits speak about the academic side and not just straight about football. Everything should be considered important, not just the sport.
yes, but is he amenable to a move to QB?
Jamie is a really fascinating character. At his core he seems good and bounded by honor as a knight. He seems to take that seriously, which make him being called Kingslayer all the more interesting. Because of all the people it seems to fit him and Briene the least. Yet, for all his honor he has been corrupted by only one person, his sister. He nonchalantly pushed a young boy out of a tower window for her and at that point in the story, I am sure, would have done much worse for her. Cersi had him by the short and curlies, and then that all slowly gets unraveled until now as she descends into her own machinations. Where he now sees how truly evil she is and bound by no honor at all. Ultimately he,r utter contempt and lack of remorse for what she has done to the kingdom, the city, the people and their children is what is going to push him to decide. And then Jamie is really going to earn his nickname and become volanqar.
King's Landing is about to be Queen's Landing.
They may be favorites if those players stick around, but with the hint of partially having a foot out the door, and the 23 year drought, I doubt they make it into the semis in Russia.
One would think that after having won 8 league and 4 Champions League titles, he would want to win something for the AFA to prove himself. Just sayin...
The Arya arc in the books was almost painstakingly long (because I want her to magically become a badass killing machine immediately) and it hasn't even gotten close to where this season took her. The show has compressed this arc tremendously I think, and the subtlety of how Arya is given the powers of the Faceless without becoming a Faceless has been lost.
What we know is that Arya is "No one" as Jaqen said. She may not be a Faceless, but he strikes me as someone that means what he says and he clearly says "a girl is no one". And if she knows how to harvest the faces and use them I would assume she could use any face at any time.
Faceless are not meant to murder, rather are hired to give the "gift" of death. But as she said "a girl is Arya Stark" which I think is a fascinating and deliberate middle ground that Jaqen is running. Giving this girl the ability of the Faceless yet with an identity. You could get GOT pseudo-religious here and speculate that perhaps Jaqen views her as a servant of the Stranger, in the West and not a true Faceless Man. If that's the case then perhaps Jaqen is not finished with Arya yet or Arya will become an agent of his in Westeros.
Jaqen himself seems to have that same inclination: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/game-thrones-tom-wlaschiha-in...
Now, by the end of season six, she's pretty much finished her training and going back to Westeros. Unless all of that was really selfless on his part, I think the Faceless Men want to have some sort of influence on what's happening in Westeros, and Arya being their weapon.
That's what I like, bold predictions. I would have never guessed a total matriarchy.
This type of thing is becoming more and more common....Man we are all getting old.
Cheers to a kick ass video on Aug 1 and more importantly cheers to football being on the horizon.

Same idea as this...

Sounds like its just a threat so the AFA gets their crap together, but wouldn't be surprised if he just doesn't want to deal with the immense pressure anymore. He's literally done all he can for his country and just can't get it done. But if the squad stay together, and these retirement rumors of him, Aguero, Mascherano, ect, are just threats, they should be favorites in Russia.

Nope aunt.
