THERE WAS A LOT LESS EMMA IN THAT TRAILER THAN I EXPECTED

Also, good on Disney, teaching pretty girls to succumb to Stockholm syndrome since 1991. Need to get better locks for the other stalls in the barn.

Unless something has radically changed, only one team can win. Alas, FIFA corruption may always confuse us.

Weaver never wanted to schedule a Pac-12 school. We had Nebraska and some Big12 schools, but nothing further west. I totally support trips out west for Labor Day weekend

It doesn't matter if we aren't the powerhouse we were back then, we still have the history of Tennessee to back us up. We'll probably never see another 90s type decade, very few schools do, but we'll also probably never see another decade like the last 10 years. We're one of the most history rich and historically dominate teams ever. We are above Thursday games. This year is the year that ends the past 10 for good. (Solid year last year, but only in comparison to the previous years)

especially with suarez now hurt...definitely makes Uruguay look a lot worse

Not sure there is an overwhelming favorite. The US were drawn into the toughest group they could have gotten. It's not tougher than the World Cup group of 2014, but all three are good teams. Both Colombia and Costa Rica are pretty well known. Paraguay were bottom of the qualifiers for Brazil, but made the semifinals last year for Copa. I think the US does get out of the group, especially if we get a point out of Colombia. Five points should be enough here and when you're in the knockouts anything can happen.

Not overwhelmingly impressed with any team right now. If I had to bet, would probably put my money on Argentina because, well, Messi. Best player in the tournament by far and has a good enough supporting cast. Wouldn't be surprised to see 7 or so teams win it, with the U.S. being one of those.

As far as sleepers, I like Costa Rica.

Lol. You'll have to share that story sometime. The Mrs. went to CN. She's not exactly a typical CN alum, i.e. she's known to raise a little hell from time to time and cusses lIke a sailor. She did her student teaching at Jeff Co. and they offered her a job after graduation.

Not that I think App is going to beat UT or anything, but they've come a long way since 2011. That was a bad, bad team, even by Div II standards.

I have two kids at school in Boone, and went to a few games last year. They're solid. Sun Belt Solid, anyway. Last year they became the first Div I program to make a bowl game in their first year of eligibility. They probably would've have gone to a bowl last year, had it been legal.

New coach came in a couple of years ago and installed a solid offense, and a scrappy defense.

For some reason, #HOOSRISING makes me think of the saying "a rising tide lifts all boats" as in, "well, we're not really getting better, per se, but all the teams who make us their whipping boy are and we get more money because of profit sharing in the ACC. So yeah, hoos rising? we are, just not because we're actually getting any better"

Trust me, no one (fans) are really excited about the move to Thursday. I would say at least 85% of the fans would rather have a Saturday game. It limits the amount of people that can go to the game, and it has all the feel of our gimmick happy AD and coach. Tennessee isn't supposed to do Thursday games, were better than those.

He just said that to attempt to adjust the narrative or move the goal posts so to speak. All he really wants is to avoid the suspension, not rescind the flagrant.

Are those even real players or did they photoshop images of players to make it seem like they have real football players?
