# | Actually sensible NCAA Reform, Schools now pay for parents on Official Visits I mean if we are not putting the parents up at The Inn, with all you can eat from there or our best in the nation dining facilities and deluxe suites based upon how highly rated we think the kid is we are not doing recruiting right and its our own fault for not using the resources at hand.
That's just horribly glorious.

Let's ask Goose what he thinks about that:

welp. time to go home.
The first thing that comes to my mind is him landing out of bounds, the ball pops out, and BC "recovered" it on our first play from scrimmage. Our last Big East game. I wanted to curb stomp that damn eagle mascot that day.
hahaha..thanks for the laugh.

Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty unpopular.
It's hard for me to get past how much of an idiot Dave Mustaine is to actually enjoy Megadeth. Which is saying a lot considering Lars.
Sorry, but your response made me think of this...

Anyone know what time the gates open Saturday? Wanna be sure to plant my pasty self in the shade in the west stands.
Only a matter of time before the travel, lodging, and food for a trip to Michigan includes a 7-figure reimbursement for needing to stay at a Motel-6 while flying coach and eating at McDonalds.
I thought the ncca basketball payout was on units played. So since UNC played in the championship game that earned some $$$ for the ACC. I could be wrong though. It has happened a few times over the years.
how about a recruiting trip to Tech's villa in Switzerland?
Of the teams promoted this season, I was hoping Norwich would stay up. Never really thought Bournemouth and Watford would do as well as they have. It's looking more and more like Sunderland are going to do their annual Hoodini act to avoid relegation. They could easily draw one or more of their games whereas I don't really see a winnable game for Norwich. Newcastle get Villa, but the rest seem difficult and if they are all tied Sunderland look like they will have the best goal differential.

Chelsea have looked incredibly lathargic the laat few weeks. Wouldnt be surprised if leicester handed it to them
How do I get my daughters recruited by: Hawaii, Miami, USCw, San Diego and a town to be named later.
Good stuff! My daughter did competitive cheerleading from the age of 6 all the way through her senior year in HS and also in college. Egbert, prepare for lots of $$$ spent on travel team coaching/choreography and competition travel - but I will say the travel is fun and a good group of parents is a great party! The camaraderie she got with her team mates and the requirement to maintain grades by the team (as well as parents) really helps. She got a cheerleading scholarship to MTSU. She competed against VT every year at Nationals in Daytona Beach. She got to go to bowl games in New Orleans, NCAA tourney visits all over the country, etc. She worked hard, but developed a good network that helped her with employment after college graduation as well. Lots of work for the parents and her, but well worth it! Kids stay out of trouble, stay focused for the long term, and once you get where I am (read as: age) - good memories.
Dang, I have been on that road. That is scary.
Only on TKP will you find a thread that somehow transforms from a discussion about football to Legally Blonde references. You guys never cease to amaze me.
