I understand that, but I guess I was inferring and coupling this comment with other quotes from players about the terminology and verbage from the new coaches being much simpler. That Mic'd Up video with Loeffler revealed a lot. He was high energy and all, but his teaching style was not conducive to efficient learning.

I'll bet you that opposing teams fear the hell out of him. They seemed to frequently go out of their way last yr to minimize his touches -- giving up a few yards by kicking high and/or away from him.

I think this frustrated Stroman and he made a number of iffy decisions and tried to force things because he knows he's capable of a big return at any moment.

But IMO he is easily the most explosive VT punt returner since Eddie Royal.

Speaking of hyperbole...

Very little of the spring game is to actually gauge player performance and development in a simulated game environment. The new coaches have said as much.

It's pretty easy for any team to send someone with an iPhone to any team's spring game these days -- and you'll probably get more than from the broadcast. There may be a good reason to not televise or stream it but the only reasonable one I can possibly think of is to encourage live attendence. Worrying about what the enemy might get from it is not one of them.

pssh, French will be asking for Papa Mook's autograph, if anything...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Announcements about activities are available. You guys must not be aware that the Spring game is part of the Spring Family Weekend events. I have gone the last three years and will be there again for my daughter's final year. We tailgate just like a real game. The Relay for Life event on campus is also on Friday night which is the other reason we go each year. http://www.nsfp.vt.edu/parents_families/spring_family_weekend/index.html

Gotta be the cringiest signature on TKP.

or for Tech to set up a VT-aTm joint research facility in texas that also has football facilities. Yessir, these are regular facilities...

Do you really think that Michigan is looking for some overlooked, under-developed talent, or are they looking to build a relationship with the four-star talent from another state?

Judging from their recruiting stats, they're going for the four stars, not the diamonds-in-the-rough that VT is known for.
