I'm not trying to pile on. Just want to say that if Lame Kiffin were still coach many Tech fans would probably vehemently truly hate UT and look for revenge at every possibility. Since they were fortunate enough to shed him, no animosity whatsoever towards them. I do want to beat their ass come September though, because from what I hear about their fans we will never be allowed to live it down.
Speith went full Wahoo there. Never go full Wahoo.
Tech kid got a shoutout there on spieth's tee shot on 16
+1 for "Hoo'd" that needs to become a common usage verb
Well Spieth Hoo'd the shit out of today, huh
You have to look at the bigger picture beyond football.
What??!? THERE IS NO "BIGGER PICTURE" BEYOND FOOTBALL!!!!
That faint buzzing sound you hear is the sound of your credibility dying a horrific death.
Spieth and Els both won the Masters? Psst. I could totally win this thing. I play those two holes just like them.
Add that to the list of why ESPN announcers suck.
Maybe your eyes are better than mine, but I had watched that catch maybe thirty times, and after reading your comment, I have watched it another dozen times. I lack the ability to view it in slo-mo, but I think the defender is the one who tipped the ball. Yes, Devin reaches high with one hand, and who knows what his intent may have been, but looked to me like the defender came up at the last second and tipped the ball into the air. The rest, of course, is now fast becoming a minor legend. Rereading your comment, I see that you never actually said he did tip it, but I thought that was what you meant. If not, sorry.

Had I voted, I would have said Texas as well. And I grew up in the 757.
I think a lot of this has to do with ESPN and their affiliates calling us "Vahh Tech" which annoys me a lot. Never hear any of them call GT "Gahh Tech"
I'm pretty sure Buzz won 10 games (including two top ten wins) in the ACC this season. Not sure if the writer of this article knew that or not..
what rivalry? I have never have and never will consider Tennessee a rivalry nor have I heard any other Hokie say this. I think you may be alone or with few on this one...
Good point, don't hear anyone saying TT.
I have never heard anyone say Tenn. I would say Vols is the most common abbreviated name I have heard.
Neither will be available to Memphis barring making them the highest paid coach in the NCAA possibly. Marshall is essentially a god in Wichita and Buzz would only need to look at the roster Pastner is leaving not even taking into account kids transferring with Pastner leaving to know he would be back at square one and be surrounded by less talented opponents.
kinda OT but unfortunately I decided not to renew my season tickets. Kind of a weak home game schedule, no real big home games to look forward to outside of the Miami thursday night game. I will be making the trek down to Bristol and South Bend though

# | Sleeker Settle Making Noise on a Deep Defensive Line, Tremaine Edmunds Set for Breakout Year He is obviously one of the fastest if not the fastest who is faster? Travon maybe.
That guy is super salty about Pastner.
Geoff Calkins of the Commercial Appeal in Memphis,
Memphis football can't yet attract an experienced head coach with a proven record of success. Memphis basketball must aim at nothing less.
That means coaches like Gregg Marshall of Wichita State or Buzz Williams of Virginia Tech. Both may well be available. Marshall is losing his fabulous senior guards, Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet. Williams is finding out that winning in the ACC may be even harder than he imagined it to be.

You da man, Jeep. My brother and I had a high old time in the "olden days" with our robots. Because my favorite color was blue, and my bro's fave was red, we always took the same colors for the fights. He never tumbled to the fact that the red head was a little more loosely put together and therefore easier to pop up...and of course, being brothers, I never bothered to let him in on it. You even got the colors right! Thanks.

The Big East has some good basketball but they don't have the depth of the major conferences. Note the ACC with 6 teams in the sweet 16 and 4 teams in the elite 8.
