# | SB Nation Poll when fans see "USC", "Tech" etc what they think of I'm with you. As someone who was born and raised in the NRV and lived in Knoxville for a year, I can confirm the hate. While it might not be considered a rivalry in the traditional sense, the lines are drawn and the hate is there.
For me?
I'm around 7500 of 9800 Hokie Club members I think.

Actually the Memphis BBQ company in Lake Horn MS served me the best ribs I've ever eaten. Inspired me to go to dry rubbed 12 hour at 125 degree smoke over an apple hickory chip blend with my own ribs, which are way better than what I used to make, but have not quite gotten to as good as those ribs were.

Can't see how awful awesome the offense is if the spring game isn't televised and media access to practice highly restricted.
Texas Tech? Really? The schools that won these polls (except maybe Washington vs Wisconsin) generally have the higher national profile, so I'm surprised that Texas Tech won. I appreciate Rhode Island for having our backs though.
Not having it televised, is also a great recruiting tool for the weekend. Drives the faithful to show up for the spring game, which other than the big junior days will have a ton of recruits at!

Gotcha, and agreed. It was a pretty tangential question I was asking, but the clearer the line is, the easier it is to abide by it (and enforce it).
If this game gets scheduled regularly, it will gin up to a rivalry in no time.
Right now, Virginia is the primary rivalry, but I see Miami as a rival as well.
