Well, your momma raised you right! I still send thank you notes, bread and butter notes, and actually own stationary and stamps. So come on over. We might end up disagreeing on everything from barbecue and politics to pie/cake (but not the Hokies, I'm sure), but I'd bet we could enjoy a pleasant afternoon and an adult libation or three while being civil about it all, just owing to your obviously proper upbringing.

I'm with you. As someone who was born and raised in the NRV and lived in Knoxville for a year, I can confirm the hate. While it might not be considered a rivalry in the traditional sense, the lines are drawn and the hate is there.

I'm around 7500 of 9800 Hokie Club members I think.

That's just the start You won't actually pick your seats for another month after that unless you're really high up the totem pole.

You'll get an email about picking seats in a month or so. It'll have a date/time along with login information to the website where you do it.

Actually the Memphis BBQ company in Lake Horn MS served me the best ribs I've ever eaten. Inspired me to go to dry rubbed 12 hour at 125 degree smoke over an apple hickory chip blend with my own ribs, which are way better than what I used to make, but have not quite gotten to as good as those ribs were.

How do u hear it live with HokieXtra App? Is it downloadable to an iPhone or tablet?

Can't see how awful awesome the offense is if the spring game isn't televised and media access to practice highly restricted.

Not having it televised, is also a great recruiting tool for the weekend. Drives the faithful to show up for the spring game, which other than the big junior days will have a ton of recruits at!

Bummer about not seeing it, but at least it frees up my weekend planning.

Any indication if we might see it return to the screen in future years?
