Now that could be correct but depending on the intentions of the studios here will dictate how actively intense this story will be told. I am really afraid these movies will be seen as filler movies till the new saga comes out. I will watch them, of course, but just really really afraid of the lack of story line these movies may have. I love to be proven wrong in these cases.

You might be surprised at the quantity of basketball leagues overseas and how many former Hokies actually pull in a professional paycheck for a few years playing basketball.

Just off the 2000 roster - (which got blown up with Ricky Stokes leaving)
Tony Dobbins - had a 10 year pro career mostly in Europe
Rolan Roberts - Still playing in Europe
Dennis Mims - Still playing in Europe
Jermaine Kimbrough - Went into coaching and is an assistant coach at Cleveland State
Jonathan Smith - Played in Europe until 2013-2014 season
Rodrigo Viegas - played about six years between Europe and South America
David Whaley - played at least one season in France
Russ Wheeler - played two to three seasons in Europe

Thats eight of fourteen that pulled in a basketball related paycheck after Tech and only what I could find doing limited searches. Not sure on the rest of the roster as I could find no record of them being affiliated with basketball afterwards but that could just be the limited search I did. I really wish Tech did a better job keeping up with where people ended up to show we have produced a much stronger basketball presence other than our limited NBA draft picks.

Looking at the 2007-2008 roster:
Deron Washington - Drafted by Detroit in 2008, still playing in Italy
Jeff Allen - Still playing in Israel
Terrell Bell - Played in UK in 2014 is last record
Malcolm Delaney - Done a couple things over in Europe, a few MVPs of several different leagues, in Russia still this year
Cheick Diakite - Played last in 2010 in Hungary
Hank Thorns - Bounced between Montenegro, Mexican professional leagues and the NBA D-League. Last known playing in 2014
A.D. Vassallo - Still playing in Puerto Rico
Terrance Vinson - worked in the strength and conditioning programs of Louisiana Tech, Mercer and Georgia Southern before becoming an assistant coach and recently named head coach of Pinecrest Academy in central Georgia.
Lewis Witcher - Played last in 2013 in Japan
Marcus Travis - Played last in Ireland in 2012

Thats 10 out of 13 that pulled in a basketball related check after Tech.

I dunno, this looks like it could be a very good movie, helping to put the pieces together of the main story arc. From what I understand, the story of how the Death Star plans are stolen is pretty intense, so if this movie is able to capture that, it should be a good one.

yea, call me simple, but all of these spin off movies are just money grabs and aren't appealing to me at all. Stick "Star Wars" on anything and it will make money but I like the main story lines.

I really don't care much about Han and Chewie before they met up with Luke.

Well I had a nice long response typed up and then the intern went down. I'm now on mobile. Basically, I don't think it's fair for us to express concerns about how Fuente runs the offense until we see it. He's been known to mold the offense to the available talent. VT has lots of talent at rb. I expect most of the running game to go thru that position.

His voice reminds me of this Kanye West song.

shoot, I'm ready to gear up my battle rattle, and hit the field. oh well, I'll just settle for spring Football here with RCSSC

These are great fun to watch and listen to! Whoever came up with the idea, deserves many kudos, turkey legs, and fine bourbon.

If I am a defensive recruit and you put me in a room with Foster and Scott you better believe I want to play for these guys. They absolutely gush energy and excitement.. not to mention the swag levels

I pictured you holding your baby in sunglasses rocking Joey Phillips hair. I hope this was correct.
