The Glennon vs Tyrod is a still a polarizing issue for fans. If I remember right, Glennon was recruited heavily by the coaches. The problem being he was a stereotypical pocket passer trying to work behind one of the worst offensive lines in the country.

I remember many game over the two years they were both here when Glennon didn't even have 1.5 seconds from snap before sack. That meant the DLine was coming through the Oline as the ball was snapped. That said, Glennon still had a better arm then Tyrod did for most of his career. But a lack of a good pocket presence and bad O line limited what he could have done.

Oh man, my wife and I ate at the Biltmore Ave location back in November on a one night stay - great food there, and we can't wait to get back to Asheville to try even more.

We also stopped at Biscuit Head for breakfast in West Asheville on our way out... amazing stuff. Ate so much I napped for about 2 hours in the car afterward.

"Dude, you've got to be a dude. You see those dudes out there? You gotta make 'em into dudes, you know what I'm saying, dude?"

*Loeffler stares into the distance*

"Good talk. Run the damn ball, dude."

Oceanmaster OM12H conventional with a Penn Squall 15. It is rated to throw up to 12 ounces of weight along with the bait. I was throwing 8oz and bait during this trip when tides were running strong.

That is my normal set up for drum fishing in the surf or on a pier.

You are taking thinks to the extreme and I don't think the average fan, or many for that matter, think that way. Most of the calls for a benching are a knee-jerk reaction not because they think the backup is better in every aspect than the starter.

You're still about 3 miles away from the track at that point. There used to be a Hills department store near there. I miss Hills.

I just ate lunch at the table directly next to where Coaches Cornelson, Burden, and Wiggins were eating lunch with Tajh Capehart and his parents, along with two other football employees. Wiggins seems like he's still in college with how energetic he is and his ability to connect with the players--I see him recruiting the pants off of that kid.

Yea I saw this list the other day and I was surprised they listed Laborn instead of Hunter. Hunter is ranked a little higher and it seems like we have a little bit better of a chance with him. However I would be elated to land either one of them.

From what I know about other schools, that's probably not too far from the truth. And from reading around a bit, I think a lot of BC fans would agree.

Even with the recent facilities announcement, there seems to be a lot of skepticism. One of the biggest challenges their programs face is a lack of available practice space. There are lots of shared spaces and very few dedicated to individual sports and coordinating gym times is a headache that's difficult to overcome. Reading through a few of these links (and comment sections) will help paint a clearer picture:

From ESPN's "Four must-get recruits for the ACC":

Khalan Laborn, RB (Virginia Beach, Virginia/Ocean Lakes)

ESPN Junior 300: 75

Keeping the best of the best at home has been a difficult task for Virginia Tech and Virginia in recent years. The Hokies are sitting in a good spot for the versatile back, and Justin Fuente and staff need to win this recruitment since the Hokies have desperately needed difference-makers at the position. Virginia Tech's competition is coming from Florida State, the team that has pulled the likes of Josh Sweat, Levonta Taylor and Derrick Nnadi out of the "757" area of Virginia Beach with Taylor and Nnadi having attended Ocean Lakes. Laborn is an almost sure bet to stay in the ACC, so that is a win for the conference, but this recruitment is key for Virginia Tech, especially in Fuente's first year.

I still get a little agitated when Glennon enters the game when I see old clips from this season. Mostly because I know what Tyrod did later... not because there's a rational thought behind it.

I have a feeling ol' Dazz will then sit him down and have a firm discussion with him.
