Gargle, gurgle, gaggle, that Pitt game. Motley got no help from the play calling. He was basically used as cannon fodder for the Pitt defensive line. Whatever transpires, Motley is a Hokie and deserves great respect.

I'm working on an "unboxing" video using iMovieSucks and iAmAMacAndDon'tHavePaint. In the mean time, here's a short trailer made using iMgurInstead:

Can we talk (more) about the clip of the UVA fan celebrating behind the endzone Lane Kiffin style... then utter TERROR

sad Hoos are the best Hoos

EDIT: HOLY CRAP UNC IS WINNING AGAIN. Step it up TKP.

guess we'll just have to win this on our own, TKP:

Step 1: Right click this link (or hypnotoad/emma below)
Step 2: Select "Open this link in incognito window"
Step 3: Vote for Blacksburg
Step 4: Close incognito window
Step 5: If Blacksburg still has less than 100%, return to step 1.

Or, if this is your thing, Emma:

In particular, people who likely never started a game at the HS level, let alone a D1 school. There are over 37,000 high schools in the US. If each averaged 20 starters in football, that makes just under 3/4 million starters, in a given year. Roughly, 128 D1 schools, so just over 2,800 starters (O and D). Odds of starting a D1 game are basically, 0.4% and that's just out of the guys who were starters for a year in HS. People expect levels of excellence from athletes that they couldn't live up to in any single aspect of their own lives.

I'll get off my soap box now.

I thought Motley played about how I'd expect a backup sophomore QB to play. There were games when he looked good, like Purdue and NC State. There were games when he played poorly, like Pitt and Miami. And it's not like losing to ECU was his fault.

I don't think it's fair for people to go on social media to call him "hot garbage" or a "bum."
