Makes sense, if you place the offensive player leader in a position to have to make decisions more, he matures faster, and you are distributing the leadership empowerment. That always work better than a top down approach in any organization.
He knew he had no chance at getting to Vick anyway.
I honestly have no clue. I'm inclined to give credit where credit is due. I don't want to start a witch hunt in the meantime. Either way, that's just the kind of fan I don't deal with. If you want to hate a guy, at least make sure he earned it. Motley gets nothing but hate for working his ass off and trying to make a name for himself when the #1 guy goes down.
I dislike players like Cody Journell. I don't hate him but there is an intense dislike there.
Redskin Potato Pie......you're welcome.
Well, it generally is at WVU, too....unless of course a cousin/other family member/etc is seated on said couch with the WVU person as well. Of course, this may explain the origin of furniture immolation in Morgantown.
I've come this far and refuse to lose. I am now voting on the darknet using Tor.
Well played...well played
Wouldn't shock me to see it happen. And for Greenberg, I'm not sure there's a more ideal scenario. Especially after putting the most teams ever from one conference into the Sweet 16, jobs in the ACC will be premier destinations.
The Pitt job in particular is a good one. Great facilities, donor support, tradition and recruiting base - all things that are the VT program lacked when he inherited it (and still do to some extent).
Maybe he played a different sport at App State, like intramural flag football.
Let's be real, he's not Mike London.
I understand your point; but my point, possibly not presented very well, was that the defender should be entitled to his spot on the field. The offense should not have unlimited freedom to run through the defender to the ball. I think that is actually what the current rules state; but the interpretation is that if the defender is not looking back and the receiver is, the receiver can run through the defender and PI will be called.
No kidding. When I saw this this morning I was thinking of it in relationship to the Ricky Slade visit yesterday.

FWIW, this guy says he played at App State in the mid2000's, Unfortunately, he either goes by a pseudonym on Twitter (not his handle, his actual name) or never saw play time as searching for him yielded no useful information at all besides his twitter.
Darius Redman has a point. Joking with Gayle doesn't erase being a dick about Motley. Since McGlock commented, it can be inferred that other current players read this stuff. What exactly does one get from shitting on current players that are putting in the hard work for VT?
Gonna be hard to get him out of Florida. Maybe seeing Fuente's offense in action this season will change his mind.
That's one way to ensure you got a poppin program for a while. In a bubblical sense, of course
Good thing he didn't go to VCU. We'd have to hear about this even more than we already do.
LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY HENNNNNNNLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY
FYI, just heard a rumor from a Pitt grad coworker a few minutes ago that Pitt may be looking his way
I mean his brother
played fortransferred to Duke
His brother also was not a star by any means. Just 6' 3", 2/3* by recruiting services. Steph was 6' 2" and was a 3*. Hindsight is 20/20, but you're right. He's likely not who he is today had he not taken the path that he did.
they have good celiac safe pizzas, but they're pricey as all get out. Needless to say, every time a vendor wants to foot the bill for lunch, Mellow Mushroom is on my short list.
And to think, some say Beamer doesn't care about recruiting.
I'm hoping he walked out of that classroom while handing out no less than 3 scholarship offers for 2027

Did they ask him about the rumors that he's leaving for Oklahoma State?
