Fired on March 9, 2015 for failing to make Kansas a top team in the Big 12. The press conference basically revolved around "Bonnie is everything you want in a coach, but she isn't a winner, and we need a winner"

Picking against the Pac 12 has done me great favors in bracketland.

The only game I think i've missed on is Oregon to the sweet sixteen, and I was close to being right. I thought Martelli and the gang that stomped all over our Hokies would pull that upset.

Looking at the results of round1&2, how many teams from the Pac 12 should have even made it? How much of did it help them as the Pac 12 was viewed to be in an up year? Oregon, Utah, Arizona and Cal all finished ranked. Outside of them.. why were CU and USC for sure in at (10-8) and (9-9) respectively. Oregon state was flashy pick to include Gary Payton Jr in the tourney..

How many bids should the Pac 12 have really gotten?

It looks like the pendulum has swung on this within the last year. They used to be a staple of college football. Most of the articles I uncovered in a Google search about the practice ending were dated from August of last year. It was a pretty quick turnaround. I know within the last three years or so, we were I think the only ACC program not doing them, and one of maybe a half-dozen P5 programs.

not if you're old enough to have learned on a vehicle without syncromesh

I know that I've been asking for his dismissal for a while now and altho it is sad when someone loses their job this way, I still think that it needed to happen. There was enough talent on that team to win many more games this year. I hope there is another Buzz out there, male or female, that Whit can land. I'm a proponent of recruiting good foreign players if we can't otherwise attract them here.
As for baseball and softball, they haven't been all that bad recently and softball has been pretty good since Angela Tincher's days. What has been lacking since her time has been pitchers of her quality. I'm meaning consistent pitching. We can have a no-hitter one day (Maggie Tyler) and then get blown out in 3 innings the next day. Scott Thomas is a decent coach IMHO.

Because it's noise. What you did is post the equivalent of "I am indifferent to this post," which adds nothing of value. Of course, it did somehow manage to spawn a huge sub-discussion about MLB fandom, so you've got that going for you. Registering an opinion is one thing, because opinions start conversations. The whole argument of "well you guys waste time with jokes and nonsense" makes no sense to me, because at least those posts are active attempts to entertain or engage others in some kind of conversation, competition (usually hilarious), or otherwise. Even the stuff that's tired and overplayed usually gets a chuckle because it's, again, an attempt to engage with others in the community and make life around here enjoyable. Posting for the sake of posting is against the Guidelines because it's noise and is useless. It's also sort of insulting to the person who wrote the post in an attempt to stimulate discussion and pass along useful information. If you have no interest or nothing to add,

is anybody trolling this guy yet over these tweets?

I do love Boone, but I can't share the same feelings for the school. I hope you understand we are now mortal enemies. Good day sir!

No, they lost to Ohio 64-57 but that took a major 4th quarter comeback to make it look that close. Sidney Cook had a double double with 22 and 10. No one else's performance really jumps out at you.

Then why start a thread and say well I don't care if you don't care what's the point to begin with

Knowing how to drive a stick and being able to drive any old vehicle without grinding gears are two different things.

Oh man. My wife, the JMU alum, will be very angry if Brooks were to leave for the VT job.

For the sake of my marriage, I hope Whit pursues someone else.

Funny I could have sworn this is sports blog where we express our opinions and thoughts to threads and people respond with overplayed meme's and gif's...

Sports Talk radio guys were saying that this was the biggest choke job in NCAA men's bball history not just tournament but overall.
