Not to jinx this thread but if we win tonight I'm thinking about going to the semi's tomorrow night. Is it really that case that even for the semi's with only two games you have to buy a session ticket?
Anyway to just get in to the Tech game? Can you buy a session ticket from a fan leaving the 7pm game or no? The cheapest I can see is $92 on stubhub.
Love the dig at Dave Jackson there. Also, Hamilton is there hiding behind the rope.
That is the most disappointing thing about the story. I see it all over my facebook feed like it is brand new news. I can tell you it happened before the season even started because I had to move the chairs up to the concession level so the cadets could bring them right back down. I like him as a coach and love the way the team is trending, but he is a bit of a logistical nightmare to work with.
This characterizing a UVA loss had me laughing, especially because it's super Vol fan, Bill Dance.

# | GIFTORY: Frame-by-Frame Highlight Reel of Virginia Tech's 96-85 win over Florida State I like how the whole team started back on defense as soon as Blackshear let go of that 3
Two days in a row? You're pressing your luck.

# | GIFTORY: Frame-by-Frame Highlight Reel of Virginia Tech's 96-85 win over Florida State I think he was the brother of this guy who was on Jeopardy on Tuesday. Yeah, Paul curls his bleached blonde hair.
I never realized Macho Man wore what really amounted to ski goggles. I don't think you can call those sunglasses.
Shut up, Leonard.

# | GIFTORY: Frame-by-Frame Highlight Reel of Virginia Tech's 96-85 win over Florida State That speed and quickness Hamilton mentioned...... a result of the offseason (and in-season) workout regimen that these guys committed to. This team looks much quicker and stronger than seasons past. Not wilting at the end.
Makes me eager to see how much improvement we see from the football team next fall as well.
Is it too much to ask again for the 7pm game to go into overtime?
I remember in 2004, I was in high school and a Maryland fan at the time before going to Tech, MD was on the bubble heading into the ACC tourney and John Gilchrist single handedly put the team on his back and ran through the tourney to earn the autobid.
We may not have the star player that they did but I'm starting to get that magical feeling as well and it'll only build with a W tonight!
My favorite part:
Virginia Tech Win: Virginia Tech fans be like:

He's actually pretty spot on because if you were at the game last night, a kid with a VT jersey did almost exactly the same thing, on the arena's video screen during a commercial break. I had a good laugh at it.
damn their prediction for the win is almost a blowout. Isn't a well known fact Hokie fan travel to everything well. Even shitty Shreveport.
I was so happy. I got to work and was able to watch all but the first 3 or so minutes.
Leg for one of the greatest movies of all time.

Gotta play the cards your dealt. If the refs suck, we just have to be bad. If Ron Cherry trots out there tonight, well...

Is that what the kids are calling it now?
GT/Miami and Pitt/ND would be......something I wouldn't find time to watch.
@HokiESQ how how have you not commented on this guy yet? pic.twitter.com/kOxYCy4JtOโ Hokie Fireman (@FF_Hokie) March 10, 2016
Johnson got away with a blatant chickenwing under the basket right there.
Every time I see this, it makes me think of this:

I don't want to get too excited because I know how the letdown feels (after all, I am a Cubs fan). But sometimes when watching a team you just feel like something special is happening, this kinda feels that way.

Lucky Charms. Somebody make sure he has same seat for the game tonight!
