For what it's worth, I think there's a little bit of luck in every win, most coaches acknowledge that too. If you decide to come back, perhaps something more than a broad statement might help convey your point better.
Am i crazy for thinking we have an outside chance at the tournament, we have quality wins over Virginia and Miami and a good pitt team tons of momentum and and if we win 2 or 3 games in the acc tournament i think we should be given a chance atleast

Had they been able to pull out one of the UNC/Louisville/ND games I think they'd be in solid shape but the crummy RPI, bad OOC and the fact they've been off the radar most of the season will doom them. They're 3-10 this year against the RPI top 50 (with some ugly beatings there) but 15-3 against everyone else. Their one bad loss was their first game of the year. They've handled their business against the teams they should beat.
I have feeling it's going to be Evan's, but I really want Lawson to win it out. We could also end up red shirting Lawson like he should have been last year.
You only should rush the court after beating #1. If you are #1 and beat a non-tournament team at the buzzer you should never rush the court (I'm looking at you Duke).
We haven't hit our ceiling for this year...and that Verizon Center ceiling is pretty high
I'll be coming from Richmond and I've never been to the Verizon Center. Does anyone have any advice for parking? Or should I just go to Springfield and take the Metro?
No the SEC doesnt sponsor wrestling, they are the only P5 conference that does not. Mizzou is also the only SEC school with a team.
But hey they have Equestrian though!

No chance because of Non Conference Sos. It's pretty heavily weighted by the committee and we played 6 teams below 300 in the RPI and Alabama State is at 266. We also only have 5 top 100 wins and 2 top 50 wins by RPI and nothing of significance on the road. Need to win the ACC championship in order to go

What are you talking about? It's a huge win. Case closed.
ESPN updates the RPI ranking daily and we are now 86th. According to this article, the worst ranked RPI team to get an at large bid was 74th. To me, it seems like a couple of ACC tournament wins would put us in "it's happened before" territory.

Then I remembered LOLuisville.
The team records are updated correctly, but Miami didn't move down either. If I was spot or two behind them I would be wondering how a loss to team around 100 didn't mean a thing.
Well we moved up from a 7 seed in the NIT to a 4th so that means at least one home court game.

The man is always smiling. I love what Buzz has done to this program in the two years he has been here. The players are more excited, Cassell is more packed, and they're winning big time games. I am so excited for the future of Virginia Tech basketball.
