Ask is much more valid as a noun than inbox as a verb. It is the technically correct term for the lowest amount a potential seller will accept to sell. See 'bid-ask spread', etc. It is the most common way to signify that concept in financial markets (although there are other ways to say it). I've never heard it used outside of financial applications, but it doesn't seem like much of a stretch.
If someone is using it to mean something else other than that, that would possibly be annoying, but it's not easy to tell from your example.
Shit we were doing the opposite for a while. Instead of giving players money, our staff was taking money away for disciplinary measures till Whit got wind of it.....
Any time you see a ref making big dramatic body motions to go with the call you know they are in it to play for the crowd reactions, and the good teams in the ACC have rabid home crowds to show off for. I'm sure they feed off the "BS" chants and "boos" too, but you have to keep the crowd in it to get those. I agree it was not a big factor last night, and that I see it in most games. As soon as you see one ref run out to a part of the floor to be seen while thrusting his hips or waving his arms you know all the big calls are gong to the home team.
Until I see some proof or at the very least accusations of cheating against my University then I'm inclined to believe the opposite way. Cheating is nothing to be proud of, I don't care what level of sports it occurs in.
Oh man here we go again...
First, Tech cheats wether you want to believe it or not. Maybe not on the level of other schools, but they do. Frank made a career off of 3-4* kids from Va, he didn't have to cheat as much. Everyone knew who he was and that he wasn't going anywhere. Also props to Frank for getting the most out of those players, but you saw what it gets you, an abysmal record against top 25 teams. Fuente doesn't have the luxury Frank did. He's the new guy and the outsider, no one knew if they can trust him 100% yet. If you want top classes and top players, the money is going to have to flow a little more freely. And if you think cheaters never win, just look at the past 15-20 years of championships and see who's won most of them.
Nigel Williams is no slouch either
EDIT: Well, that might have been the Williams you were referring to...

If these accusations are true, it's a very sad and disappointing situation. Even more discomforting is that this type of thing probably happens at many prominent schools around the country.
Is it Rich Rod? We're talking about Rich Rod right? I think it's Rich Rod?
The one thing I will say about the offensive expectations is that the foundation of talent he has to work with here at VT is light years ahead of what he started with at Memphis. He basically had to build a team from scratch and start out with the fundamentals on offense. Schematically, I don't think what Fuente wants to do is terribly different from some of the spread concepts Loeffler installed here. And Fuente has said all along he tries to mold his system around what his players can execute best. Maybe I am being overly optimistic, but I don't think there is going to be a massive rebuilding project on offense. Bucky will likely be used heavily as a WR, and I imagine the coaches will give Newsome plenty of looks as well along with the freshmen. New OL coach, but this is a veteran group. Coach Vice has some work to do, but again, I don't think we're completely starting over.
We saw improvement offensively last year, but the group lacked the ability to consistently execute the plays even late into the season. I think Fuente's spread will bring a much more refined philosophy and allow the players to play fast without their minds tying up their feet under Loeffler. Again, I need to see how things develop over the spring and offseason, but that side of the ball has tremendous potential.
Really?
This is a good place to ask a question I've had for a while. What about Adam Smith? How did that come about? He's in conference playing this year? I heard Buzz kind of allude to it before the ga tech game, but he didn't really want to get into it. Just wondering how that played out exactly.
Says the team that's never won anything
and they dont play themselves
He is our best wing defender. A big problem with this team is defending the 3 ball, he should help with that a lot.
It's probably more than one.
As if that poor baby didn't have it hard enough already. Somebody call protective services!!
UT knows a thing or two about never winning.
I guess ND can't have a top-10 non-con schedule since they don't have a conference.
Yep. Buzz is playing Wilson for a reason, and his defense is usually really tight. Blaming last night's showing on anything other than being outmanned and outtalented is a mistake. Not to worry, our days are coming, and until then, I have every confidence in Buzz and won't be second guessing his methods.
Williams, Baron, Settle, Walker(or Steve)
So what I took away from this is the formula: ND + three other teams = top ten schedule. got it.
maybe I am. Can you name the 2 deep? I can't

And that is why I never want to be a part of the SEC. It's not okay just because "I think everybody does it."
