Its ok to eat junk but you have to time it in relation to your workouts. Insulin makes everything grow. Knowing how to maximize its effects is the critical point. You want it to grow your muscles with insulin while not allowing your fat cells to grow with it. Timing more critical than macros. Off season conditioning much different than in season.
Midnight at Kroger may be a whole different thing going on. Can barely remember those days.
I agree with most of your points.
The miracle of the Panthers to me is their salary structure... offensive MVP, (??? defensive MVP???, maybe best CB in the game?... how do they pay these guys without a fall off other areas?
they really need to pitch the deal like they did to Oher... Cam seemed to pitch it to him in a way that made him want to come there and play for them... especially guys who for one reason or another can still play but are coming off an off year
i know nothing about their salary cap but really thought they would win just based on their talent alone... that DT they have is a nightmare as well
It's a great chance to buy low on a team that is moving up! Hopefully he is right and it becomes a hard ticket to get.
Now that he is retiring he needs all the endorsements he can get. Maybe trying to get Budweiser and Papa Johns together for a pizza with Lager sauce?
I logged in just to leg this comment. I've also been really impressed with our big four recent hires as well. Making some big moves for our beloved alma mater.
Seems like an odd comment. "Scam Newton"?
Newton was an absolute beast this season. what scam was he about? I'm not a Carolina fan (E A G L E S EAGLES), but seems like a weird guy to hate so much. But if your cool with your own bad look...
The more Jolly stays the same. I was in Charlotte to watch the superbowl also RIP my Panthers.
Scam Newton crying like a little punk. Enjoyed every second of it.
Also heard some WRs have already told their agents to work with Gettleman to play for the Panthers next year. I know Alshon Jeffery has already expressed interest, and if he's willing to take a discount to go for a title....
OL so needs help, and WR while talented drops too often. 3 crucial drops tonight cost them the win. First Cotchery drop, the next play is the strip sack TD. Second drop by Cotchery would have given the Panthers 1st and goal from the 5 with a chance to take the lead. Gano misses the ensuing Field Goal. This drop was on Ginn inside the 20, but he pops it up and it gets intercepted. That's at least a 14 point swing, likely 17 or 21. They lost by 14.
WR has to be the biggest need this off season. These drops were the norm but usually they could overcome. Against the Top defense, you can't afford that. The receivers cost them the game.
I'd have lost my shit if any offensive player had won MVP. Von Miller owned that game.
Manning drinks Budweiser, just saying...
Manning did almost nothing. Just glad they didn't give him the MVP
Being on a Super Bowl winning team is not the same as actively contributing to that win. Peyton gets another ring, but he was hardly instrumental in earning it. The defense won that game, plain and simple. Peyton's stat line was pedestrian.
13/23 141 Yards 0 TD 1 INT 5 SACKS 56.6 QB rating
He managed to not lose the Game but this isn't Manning of old by any stretch.
Now that Payton can retire a happy man, I want to see Tyrod vs. Newton in Super Bowl LI.
Meet the new Super Bowl champs, same as the old Super Bowl champs from two years ago?
OL definitely, but don't forget that Kelvin Benjamin was out all year.
OL, WR are needs it looks like.

FTFY
Let them talk. Game was over at that point and if he drives in for it he would get hurt, be it concussion or some injury he spends all off season rehabbing. But you know the firestorm that will come as the media has been waiting to pounce on him for anything.
But whatever, he'll use it as motivation for next year and with Benjamin back and hopefully some OL help, would not be surprised to see them back to destroying the NFC next year.
Even better!

Is it chocolate chip?
Did you seriously dig up a thread from 4 months ago just to say "I told you so?"
Do you want a cookie?

This is so encouraging on many levels.
CJF comes in and isn't afraid to play the game. Needs the scholarship, or (more likely) just doesn't want to spend one on Dean (no offense to him, but he's a borderline prospect for us, and I know I'm not the only one who saw his commitment and didn't think much of it). In Fuente's eval, he's not part of the plan. Fair enough - welcome to the world of college football coaching changes.
And Clay Dean, who could have found somewhere else to play football - very likely on that school's dime - decides instead to accept VT's PWO offer and come to Blacksburg to earn a free ride if he can. Could have said "screw it." To his credit, he didn't.
Says a lot about how CJF handles his business. And, frankly, how Clay Dean handles his. Pulling for him.
