I considered that too....she seems pretty withdrawn and maybe never received much interest from guys, so maybe she fell under his spell as young girls often do. But killing a child and helping a pedophile is a just a whole other level of evil....and then it was verified when we learned that she had a boyfriend. Two equally abominable creatures found each other.
Not surprising at all but its always nice to hear the love.
Holmon Wiggins said at Recruit Night tonight that a ton of people have been calling making it known that they are interested.
As always, there were. The ones that I rolled my eyes at the most were when one guy said that past spring games were "extremely boring" and would Fuente's spring games have more excitement. Obviously he answered that they are very vanilla due to the exposure and also not wanted to get guys hurt. The other one was the rant from the guy who literally said he wanted to punch Steinspring in the face. Come on dude, let it go.
Say what you will about President Bush... but those are some cat-like reflexes!
I want to know when you are quitting your job and camping out next to the practice fields?
I heard there were some real stinker questions.
The format this year was a bit different than the past 2 or 3 years that I have been going. The clips of each recruit were a bit shorter, but the Q and A lasted for about an hour. I really enjoyed the amount of questions that he was able to answer within the time frame, and he didn't shy away from any of them. I came away very impressed with Wiggins. Couldn't help shake how much he resembles Adrian Peterson.
I'm in DC/Arlington now Hokies are everywhere
:D

I'd disagree with this being lateral in anything more than a superficial sense. At Tech, he had little hope to advance beyond his current position. At Florida, he'll likely get more eyes on him in a short amount of time, in a conference with what seems to be quite a bit of turnover, which bodes better for him moving up the ladder to DC.

I say "A death for a death and there's more room for the rest of us"
In all seriousness, though, I don't really know how I feel about the death penalty. What I do know is that these two individuals do not deserve to be members of our society for the rest of their days. Whether their days are purposely cut short or they spend the rest of their miserable lives locked in a box until nature takes over they absolutely should never be reintroduced to the public. Ever. They are sick, evil and twisted individuals. An example needs to be made of them. I think swift and decisive action is critical too. The longer this drags on the less impact the punishment may have on future psychos.
off my soap box now. This whole thing just makes me sick. I will not comment on it again for fear of breaching community guidelines. (I may have scraped the line in this post....if so I'll edit.)
It takes talent and development. The biggest thing I've seen lacking the last several years is "nasty". We need a little mean streak to get back that old swagger. Whatever happened to our talented d-line is baffling, and I think the coaches should absolutely be held accountable at least in part.
Young hire, as he is only 38 years old
The Head Coach is only 39, man did we get used to someone over 55.
Those kids are straight evil. Plain and simple. What possessed you to plan to murder a 13 yr old girl? For what reason? You're bored?? Man sometimes I think public executions should be reinstated
Que?
Zohn coached DBs at ODU for 3 years and would at least be somewhat familiar with Buds concepts...
Sounds like what they ran at ODU in those 3 years was similar to formations under Bud...they at least used similar personnel.
From all accounts the D Lo of today is a upfront first class person. Does a lot for the community. He's been a great cb and now a safety... Sure he needs experience as a coach but Not fair to think he's the same person he was at age 20
irregardless
just because people use it and it's a "common phrase" does not make it correct.
I heard they were going to move Zohn over to coach tight ends and be the head QB recruiter.
Hermitage and LC Bird have been the far and away top dogs in Richmond the past few years before this year, this year Loren Johnson and Highland Springs didn't just surpass those two schools, he and the team steamrolled past them and ran away with the state title. He would be a good hire.
No sir. Sam Rogers constantly checks facebook for updates on how Chuck Norris is looking for ways to be more like Sam Rogers.
Why would we do that?
I wonder if there's any chance they move Zohn Burden over to coach DBs and hire a RB coach?
I really dont see that happening but I wonder if they consider it, Im not sure what kind of defense ODU ran 2007 - 2010. I thought Justin Harper off the top of my head but I dont see him leaving an interim head coaching job. Cody/Chad, I cant remember which ones which, is still a grad assistant? Hed be extremely risky, but hes got the coaching lineage.
I also wonder if they look into anyone with TCU experience running their 4-2-5???

It actually sparked my interest when he said if you want more exciting stuff come watch us practice. All I kept thinking was, he's not serious, right? Assume that was just to compare what they do in practice vs spring game and not that there were going to be more "open" practices or scrimmages
